Had a great overnight stay in this hotel, very close to Paddington station and I will definitely be back. Polite staff and a hearty breakfast. I’ve stayed in many of the surrounding b&b’s and I find this one to be better than it’s competitors!

Rooms had bed bugs! Booked a two twin room and both beds had full grown bugs and tons and tons of nymphs. We had looked between the mattress and bed frame and that had been clean, so we spent the night, but the next day I noticed bright red bug bites along my arm. Pulled off the sheets from the mattress and both beds were covered in them. Checked out as quickly as possible and let the front desk clerk know and requested a refund. Hotel also offered a refund through Booking chat upon cancellation but none has come through after three full business weeks.Windows also did not close properly, which allowed in a ton of noise and made the room cold at night, one electrical outlet did not work and was coming loose from the wall, and heating did not work either. Overall terrible experience and made worse by terrible customer service

Since London is very expensive and I was traveling on a budget, I have chosen this hotel. After staying in this "3*" I stayed in 1* elsewhere which is way much better. There are only 3 good things about this hotel. Very nice stuff, good breakfast, and excellent location. First the rooms. It was old, very small, but fair. I thought it was clean, but I have four new insect bytes. Then the internet. This was way the worst internet at any place claiming they have one. I was there for work and not having good internet was terrible. The last thing is bag storage since I had a late evening flight. They said they could store it in an open public area in a lobby. It is not true that someone is always there, and for sure I don't believe they were going to check who takes what and if a random person walks from the street. So I left my luggage elsewhere.

Definitely not 4 stars - it’s a 2 star hotel - don’t know how they got rated this. Booked and paid 4 nights and can’t wait to leave - bed bugs is true!!! Filthy bed sheets with blood stains - requested change of towels and don’t happened I had to request probably 4 times - I had to do it because we are three people and there is no place to hang them apart of 1 hook. Many things are pretty bad but I wouldn’t be able to finish the list. Def not recommended.

I had a single room, which had been refurbished in the last year & had a new digital TV. The cooked breakfast was very good. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station & has a lift. I would consider staying at this hotel on my next trip to London.

Very centrally placed close to public transport and in walking distance from Oxford street, this has been the perfect place to stay for me and my two teenager daughters. There are also nice bars and restaurants very close. …

Strange hotel. Looks very posh from the street but the staff - whilst friendly and helpful - were very informal which gave the place a slight Fawlty Towers feel, but in quite a nice way. Location was fabulous and beds comfy!
