I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chapter - Mayfair Residences and it was an exceptional experience. The location is prime, situated in the heart of Mayfair and within walking distance to some of London's most iconic landmarks. The apartment itself was spacious, modern and impeccably designed, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and a beautiful bedroom with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. I would highly recommend The Chapter - Mayfair Residences to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in London.

Staff are very kind and professional. Although my reservation wan non refundable, they refund the full amount when I explained that I wasn’t aware that the bathroom is sharing with other rooms. Especially Ahmed was very kind and helpful.

Mayfair Guesthouse has an excellent location. All the surrounding hotels are so much more. I was pleasantly surprised of the value and cleanness. The place is so close to restaurants, shops parks and Buckingham Palace. I was pleasantly surprised of how clean and spacious it was for the price. Our room had some stairs. I did not get bothered by it at all, however this may be an issue for someone who has bad knees for foot problem. I would definately recommend the place. It was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was outside the door, it was very spacious and clean and no-one used it except you so the location did not bother me at all. I’ll definitely would stay there again.

Upon arrival at the Guest House, it took 5 minutes for the receptionist to open the door - with 2 people Manning the front desk. We were showed to our room, absolutely no problem with that. Our private bathroom was outside of the room - which was fine. However, when you book a PRIVATE bathroom, that is what you should get - not other people using it and leaving pubes in the shower! Extremely disappointed that there were also no tea or coffee pouches available in the room, just sugar and a kettle. There was a lack of loo roll, asked for some more to be left for us - this request was not met. Absolutely NOT worth £118 for one nights stay.

I would just like to start of saying I'm not one to complain but this really made me angry. Start of by saying location was excellent and the first gentleman we met at reception was very polite. After that everything else was downhill.I specifically booked a room with a private bathroom.....that was a lie! I had my kids and wife with me so I made a extra payment for a private bathroom but as I made my way to the bathroom a lady walked out who had just been using the shower? She was apparently another guest from a different room. As I went down to let them know I was met by a guy who couldn't speak English so I had to somehow explain what had happened. He said in so many words it wouldn't happen again. I felt bad for him so a little while later while ordering a takeo8i ordered him some food aswell. Got to about 8pn so I thought it would be a good idea to shower the kids and put them to sleep but as I made my way again ti my so called private bathroom I heard someone inside flushing the toilet! So now I went down again told him but by this point I figured it'd pointless. I might aswell talk to a wall. For the remainder of the night I heard various people using my so called private bathroom. In the morning I met a new guy at reception told him n he promised to get the manager yo call and guess what.....no1 called. Unfortunately I will never stay at this place again and I would urge anyone who's spending good money to visit London to stay well clear of this place. Dnt get tempted by the location there's plenty more in that area. STAY CLEAR

Good points:Big and spaciousComfortableGreat locationBad points:Hard to find (no sign + snowing at the time).WiFi terrible (connected once but failed all other times). Hot water smelled awful (sounds weird but you'll see, I mean, smell).Noisy (poor sound insulation + people were coming in late night drunk/rowdy).Room 2 (twin) did NOT have a private bathroom contrary to advertised, you had to leave the room to get to it and it stank one morning proving it was used by other(s).Still waiting for tax invoice 4 months later!!!

I stayed here little over a month ago. On our confirmation it said we could check-in from 10am...so we arrived at 10am. The man at the front desk said the rooms wouldn't be ready till 1500hrs so we left our bags there ad went out for the day. When we returned at 1600hrs, we were shown our rooms and there were no pillow cases on the pillows. We were assured that there would be pillow cases on there in the evening. Shock - no pillow cases in the evening and no one to complain to at the front desk. I complained through the booking company and had a chat with the manager and instead of being apologetic he just argued.

Loved my stay at the Mayfair Guesthouse, location is fab.. really close to everything and only a few stops on the train to Kings cross. Rooms are light and spacious, would really recommend! Staff were also really helpful, many thanks to Mikaeel who made our stay even better and helped out quickly with any queries we had. Thankyou so much, look forward to staying again in the future.

Two stars given for location only. I have no idea why this shambles sits in the heart of lovely Mayfair. From the word go we regetted booking this place for our overnight stay in London. After being shown to our room the "person" who took us up could not find a key to our room and promised he would return with it immediately. After 15 minutes we went to look for him as he didnt return. He sent another person up with a bunch of keys, who tried each key to discover which belonged to our room. Even though the key itself was labelled with our room number. The room was boiling but only one window would open, which didnt do much to reduce the stuffiness. There were two large, unsightly stains on the carpet. An infloor electric socket with a thick wire sticking out of the floor tripped me up twice. The double room had a kettle and two glasses but only one cup and no milk. We asked for milk and were told there was none until "delivery arrives tomorrow morning". No offer to get any. Our "private bathroom" which we paid for was along a small corridor and unlocked for all and sundry to use. No loo roll in bathroom and used...open bottles of what looked like left behind shower gel for us to use. Turning to our bed...the linen was not fresh-smelling at all. The bed was obviously not freshly made up. Last but not least when we sat on the bed, the support slats fell out of the base and we had to fix them. We had to sleep trying not to move around too much as the slats fell out again one by one. I woke up with backache. There was no one in reception to report all of this to, from around 5 pm until we left at 10 the following morning. A distinct lack of interest and caring for customers after taking payment.Needless to say we will be returning to this souless place every year for our summer hols. 😕

Excellent location. Good for a day or two. Friendly hosts. Shared bathroom with really low water pressure in shower and toilet. Depend on your room your views may be air condition units or a street view.
