Was here for my 40th and had an amazing time. The room we stayed was lovely a good size and very comfortable.Staff were really friendly and polite. The decor is beautiful and inviting. We had drinks at the piano bar in the evening which again was lovely the atmosphere is cozy and warming and the piano being played in the background made the evening tremendously relaxing. The hostess was so friendly and nice she really made the evening perfect. Couldn’t of asked for a better stay we really enjoyed ourselves hopefully we’ll be back soon, thank you all for a great stay.

Overall, our stay at the Dilly was okay. But for a hotel claiming to be 5 star, there were a few things that just niggled. The phone in our room didn't work at all, which meant having to ring the hotel and then them bringing us a QR code to use to contact them. The dressing gowns were covered in stains and we had to ring to get them replaced. There were what looked like pubic hair on the ceiling of the bathroom...I'm not sure I even want to think about how it got there! There was also the beginnings of black mold in the shower.Generally, the room felt a bit grubby and tired. The carpets looked dirty, the furniture chipped and worn. The bed mattress sank in the middle and definitely looked like it had seen better days. Aircon was pretty inefficient.Must say for London the room was a decent size and I thought the staff were generally helpful and pleasant

A real wonderful place to be in the heart of London! The neighborhood is a great place to enjoy at the evenings and nights and it’s very easy to go to the tourist points by tube or walking. The staff were pretty attentive and careful with us, and the breakfast was really amazing! We loved the time we had there and hope to came back!

The Dilly Hotel in London has an unbeatable location and the service is absolutely top-notch. The staff is attentive, professional, and always eager to help. However, when it comes to the rooms, the experience is far from what you would expect from a five-star hotel, especially considering the rates charged for such a prestigious classification. The rooms, rather than living up to five-star luxury standards, feel more like those of a three-star hotel. The decor is outdated, and the furniture shows noticeable signs of wear and tear. The space is cramped, and amenities like the bathroom lack the sophistication and comfort expected at this level. Noise insulation is another issue, making it hard to enjoy a peaceful stay despite the central London location. If the Dilly were marketed as a three-star hotel, these shortcomings might be easier to overlook, and its positive aspects, such as the fantastic location and great service, would stand out more. But since it is branded as a five-star establishment, expectations are high, and the disappointment upon entering the room is palpable. For those looking for a truly luxurious stay, the Dilly unfortunately falls short. In summary, the Dilly offers five-star service and location, but the rooms sadly do not match the price tag or the standard you would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

This is definitely not a 5* hotel. The lobby and breakfast area are great but the bedrooms are far from up to the standard that I expected. There were numerous maintenance issues in our room, food left in the fridge by the previous guest, no water in the room, very poorly decorated with paint splashed on light switches and the room service was beyond a joke. How they can charge those prices and retain a 5* rating is beyond me. If you are looking for a 5* stay, avoid this hotel!

Good location. Decent service. Terrible rooms. No air conditioning and the rooms are very very hot. The desk advises to "open the window" but it is one of the loudest locations around. Not a good hotel if you want to sleep. Also dirty and old rooms. Stay here if you want a 2/3 star hotel in a 5 star location. Actually checked out early and moved hotels because experience was so bad.

+Very pleased from check-in to our departure. The front desk manager was exceptional. We arrived early and he was able to get us into an upgraded room (for a small fee) immediately. The staff is very courteous and go out of their way.

The location was excellent, however the room was small, not exactly clean, and extremely hot. Requested to move into another room but was told it wouldn't make a difference. They did deliver a fan and a cooling unit, which made sleeping in the room tolerable. Tried to get room service after a day of sightseeing, but had to cancel after waiting for over an hour and a half. I think they are understaffed.
