Did not get the room that we booked for three. TV wasn’t operational. Fellow at front desk told me they would send someone. 1.5 hours later I went back. Given another room. Keys wouldn’t work - had to return them two times to get ones that worked. Room was very dated and dirty. My socks got filthy walking around. Bathroom not cleaned properly. I complained and they sent a cleaner while we were out. Areas pointed out were not done. This very small apartment was $450 Canadian a night. I realize it’s London but I expect cleanliness!Found a better hotel (Princes Square) in the same neighbourhood for $75 Canadian a night more. Well worth it. It was clean, bigger and had exceptional service.

So I just have a lot to say about this. I dont know where to start. We booked New Kent apartments because we loved their pictures of their roomes, they seemed pleasent and tidy and comfy. But when we get there, it was a dissapointment. First, we got a room no.3, somewhere in the lower floor, the room was terrible- no space, low water pressure from toilet, the view from the window- stuff's room in the outside... or something like that... I just can't explain. We just didnt feel comfortable down there. We asked for a normal room ,upstairs, and the girls on the reception were polite, they explained us everything about that and they even asked us if we want to see the room first. We were supposed to be in the room no. 15, which was way more better than the first one. We wanted that one but then at the reception they told us that they cant find that room in the sistem( my boyfriend said that was the reason) and that they will give us room no. 14.. I was ok with that, anything but not the previous one. Eventually we were in the room 14 and we were ok with that.. Until we realised that they have a window with a long hole with no possibility of closing it, cold wind was coming through it... (picture down there) . Then, the walls had holes, bed was uncomfortable and in the shower, shower had no head, the walls were dirty and it was dirt all around the shower. Also, toilet was dirty, some yellow colour that we couldnt wipe. Awful... Shame that they couldnt clean the toilet properly, if you ask me. If I were them, I'd never put something like that on booking, or at least I will try to make everything look tidy and clean.I just don't have a words about this. Main positive things are great location and polite stuff, although the maids were somehow confused... I dont know. In the middle of the night we also heard strange noises coming from the kitchen's elements, like scratching or something.. My boyfriend instantly told me that he thinks it is a mouse or something smaller like him. I wanted to explode, the last night of our stay, I couldnt sleep. All in all, we wouldn't book this apartment again. Pictures have no connections with the reality. Sorry but I have to be honest.

The room was smaller than It looks in the booking website, nevertheless it was clean and the location was really good, plenty supermarkets, coffee shops, underground stations & bus stops nearby. We didn’t expected to be charged for a security deposit of 200£ but if you pay attention on the advertising it says so.We expect to get the deposit back but for now it’s all good.

Worst experience at a hotel ever. Dirty room with a terrible smell of curry and leftovers in the microwave. We asked the receptionist how to open the window and she told us that she didn't know how to and that maintenance would tell us the next day. We had to buy air freshener and cleaned everything, we still couldn't get rid of the smell. We were told cleaning services would come in the morning - they didn't. The shower sink didn't drain. We were told maintenance would fix it in the morning - they didn't. We were told multiple times that there weren't any rooms to switch over to, until I said how close I was to leaving the hotel entirely, and a room magically appeared. An upgrade they called it, with flickering lights, smaller bathroom, broken and sharp shower head, and no AC/ heating. I wouldn't dare staying at this hotel ever again.

Very basic- do not be fooled by pictures. These rooms are very basic and shabby. The only positive is the location as we were attending a concert in Hyde Park. Our group had three rooms and a member from each room had to give ID and a deposit of £200.The rooms/walls/furniture/floor etc. we’re very grubby, there weren’t any bedside tables, the beds were against walls so there wasn’t anywhere to have anything accessible (reading glasses/charger/tissues/drink). The rooms were hot, no ventilation. Room 3 was in the basement, no natural light so either bright ceiling lights or darkness. Our room had a window with bars, it adjoined an outside area where cleaners stored equipment, laundry, washed out buckets etc so it was very noisy early in the morning, they talked loudly, there was no consideration that guests may want to sleep after 7am. The bathroom sink had no plug, the basin was very small but had a large/kitchen tap so every time you put the tap on water went down the front of the unit, down you ! and all over the floor (see pic of rusty sink unit from long term usage).I feel the pictures used to advertise the property are old and misleading, the rooms are not advertised in their present/poor condition.

Good hotel if you want a hotel close to the train station. Close to halal food. But the room is old and we had to pay the deposit for such a room.

Horrible experience. We paid a good deal of money for what we expected to be a special night in London. But we could not have a shower because there was no hot water! The receptionist told us she was sorry but, being that an old building, it happens! No refund offered.

Writing on behalf of somebody else, dirty shower and living area, no hot water (checked the reviews and I'm not the first to complain about this, just called to speak to somebody and the entire place is being run by the receptionist. Terrible service. Please avoid at all costs.Ruined an 18 year olds girls birthday, and refusal to refund her money.Shocking service.Do yourself a favour and just sleep in your car.

Very clean and functional apartment but still very small for 3 people. It's just for sleeping
