Don’t book it!Let’s start this review with the one positive, the location is fantastic no complaints there. However, just don’t book this hotel for your own safety and comfort. Firstly, the bedroom doors don’t lock, the hotel is super outdated and dirty. Bedding is not clean, full of hair, brown marks and other unknown substances. The rooms are super outdated and dirty. The shower head and controls fell off and the bathroom is full of black mould.Upon our stay London experience light rainfall, and our room was completely flooded, as the roof was leaking all over our bed.Once we were moved to a new room we were left shocked at the condition of the room, to find bags of rubbish left in the room, more hair and hat looked like blood on the bedsheets. The staff are anything but polite and friendly, rather the people who work there would rather sit and watch inappropriate social media content that give you a warm welcome. Or help with any of our problems. This hotel is in a fabulous location and is well priced, but after what we went through I would say the price is far too high.If you want a clean and safe hotel with bedbug free beds, don’t come here! Rather look for another place.

Do yourself the favor and don’t book this place. Although the location is a pure 10, everything else is questionable, to put it politely. The room we were staying in was terrible. The walls were covered in mold. Add the stench and you have the experience. The furniture was totally worn out, the window was falling apart due to the mold and the moist. Beds waren’t even beds, it was just old mattresses on metal frames. The toilet seat was smaller than the actual bowl and the shower was leaking. The bathroom sink had cigarette burns, although the place had strict no smoking policy. The floor was dirty and the walls are so thin I thought someone was breaking in our room when the next door neighbour was opening the door to his room.I made the mistake of booking and arriving at the location before reading the reviews. If I had read them beforehand I would undoubtedly have canceled my booking and found a decent and clean place instead.

Went for 4 nights, for the price we paid you can't argue, great stay here. The room was tidy and kept that way throughout our stay. Staff was friendly, the only think il say for a better experience was that the tv in the room was far away from the bed. If you want a cheap hotel in central London which is clean and tidy, this is your place

Many have complained about this place, but if you want perfection then pay twice the price.|The location is 2 mins from the underground and very convenient. We were in the attic with views over the locality. …

This is not your luxury 5* hotel, it is actually not in top condition, but the important stuff like bedsheets, towels and bathroom are clean and the WiFi is working. We arrived early and the friendly receptionist explained our options. Check in early for 25 GBP per person or store the luggage for 5 GBP per person. We chose to store the luggage. The elevator was working and our room was cleaned daily. We stayed for six days and could sleep really well with our window open. Our room was located on the fourth floor. The neighborhood is rather busy, so I think the upper floors are less noisy. I would recommend this hotel for a short city trip if you want to be close to the places of interest. Hyde Park is a 5 minute walk away. Lots of reasonable priced restaurants, lunchrooms, coffee-bars in the neighborhood. People who expect higher standards should rather look for another hotel, but you will have to pay more. This is reasonable for a zone 1 hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

This was the worst hotel experience we’ve had. We don’t typically write reviews but felt it important to share how terrible this hotel is, in spite of its great location next to Paddington Station. …

Quite honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had staying in a hotel. I would absolutely not recommend booking this place. The photos they show you when booking is so misleading and looks completely different. …

Superb location. All a bit run down. If booking I would advise ensuring the lift is working. We had to lug 2 bags each up 109 steps to get to our room. I would also suggest checking the expected temperature. Whilst the wall fan was appreciated, in 28° heat it was no substitution for air conditioning. Due to the positioning of the plug sockets we had a choice: Watch the television, or put the fan on.

Room was on 4th floor...lift out of order. Bags of laundry on stairwell for 2 days. Room floor could have done with a sweep. However room comfortable enough..tea bags, milk etc available. Bedding clean, bed comfy, fantastic location . You don't go to Paddington to stay in your room so yes would stay here again 😊

The hotel does not match the images presented on booking.com. There are visible holes in the walls, an unpleasant odor emanates from the carpet, and the walls are so thin that conversations from neighboring guests are easily overheard. …
