Each plate was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. My personal favorite was the french toast with fresh berries which were simply divine. What truly sets the Tribal Brunch apart is the immersive experience. Loved the hotel, very artistic… staff was lovely. Drinks were amazing. Rooms were a tad bit small but normal in London. Loved the theme, can’t wait to stay here again. Wasn’t aware of the $200 safety deposit fee a day… also was told I took something from the snack bar in the room which I didn’t but was amazing boutique hotel.

What should you expect from a five-star hotel? To me, the very best create a sense that you’re known, that you’re important, and that anything is possible. …

We went for cocktails and dinner - lovely cocktails, well sized and stocked wine list, friendly service. The food menu is small and really good - we did have to ask for salt for one course but I think it was a small oversight.

I recently stayed at The Mandrake and had a very disappointing experience. We got in after a long flight and needed additional rest. We fell asleep and heard the door open to our room. We went to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. We had to call from our phone to let them know what was going on. They never got back to us officially. We ran into the concierge who helped us with our luggage and he said it was staff looking to stock an already stocked fridge. I will say he is the only one who was helpful. Nothing worked in that hotel room. Phone, hair dryer, mirror Iron etc…. The shower didn’t keep the water in, it would leak on the secondary flooring of the bathroom. We had to stuff the shower with towels in order to keep the floor from getting wet. The slamming of the doors and the constant smell of smoke in the night time made it hard to breathe and sleep. It progressively got worse throughout the night. Overall, my stay was far from enjoyable, the last night we didn’t even sleep in the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to others especially if you are sensitive to smoke. I don’t think the reviews reflect the actual hotel, but that of the bar and restaurant they host. Which is why this is rated so high. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. It was truly a nightmare and we definitely didn’t want to start the trip that way.

My stay at The Mandrake in London was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I had stepped into a fantasy world. The hotel’s moody vibe perfectly complements its location in the trendy Fitzrovia area, creating a unique and immersive environment. The room was nothing short of luxurious, with high-end furnishings and a well-stocked minibar that made my stay even more comfortable. The en suite bathroom was a dream, featuring a rainfall shower head that added a touch of spa-like relaxation to my daily routine. The greenhouse terrace and central courtyard are absolute showstoppers, draped in hanging jasmine and passion flowers that infuse the space with a captivating fragrance. The rich textures, vibrant dark colors, and theatrical lighting throughout the hotel made every corner feel like a work of art.The amenities at The Mandrake are exceptional. The restaurant on site served exquisite dishes, and the bar was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city.A special mention must go to the staff, who were nothing short of top tier. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. The Mandrake is not just a hotel; it's an experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, style, and a bit of the unexpected, I highly recommend staying here. I can't wait to return!
