Awesome location, super close to Paddington station - which brings you everywhere very easily. (The ride to the airport is maybe 20 min). Staff was very friendly. I had read the rooms were going to be small - they weren’t joking. …

I recently stayed one night at the Inhabit Southwick. While I appreciate the vibe the hotel is trying to give and their sustainability message, I chose this hotel purely for its proximity to Paddington Station and being part of the Marriott …

We had a great 4-night stay at the Inhabit Southwick Street! Very good value for London. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout the visit. …

Very nice boutique hotel. Excellent service. My friend and I stayed there for 1 night. We originally had a room with 2 beds. When we came back from dinner, our room smelled like sewage. When we went to the front desk to complain, the staff did not hesitate to reaccommodate us. They did not have any other rooms with 2 beds, so they gave us each our own room. The next morning, the manager was very apoligetic. Room was small, but was extremely comfortable. Would definitely consider staying here again.

I'm usually not one to leave online reviews of hotels/restaurants, but I had to for this one to share my horrendous experience. I'm a Marriott Gold member and usually prefer to stay at Marriott properties when I travel. Despite the bad reviews, I still went ahead with this place assuming it couldn't be that bad since it was a Marriott property. But I could not have been more wrong! It was a terrible experience from the moment I stepped into the reception. The reception staff was so awkward and I felt uncomfortable being there. The hallway to the room is a maze and extremely narrow (I struggled with my suitcases). I saw multiple reviews about rooms being small, but I could not believe how small it actually was. I was traveling alone and found it small, I can't even imagine couples/families fitting into that room. The bathroom wasn't even big enough for me to wipe myself down after showering. The walls are EXTREMELY THIN, I could hear everything from the hallway and the room opposite. I was woken up multiple times from the noise and the average bed. I could not wait to get out of the hotel from the moment I got there. There was a bad water breakout all over the hotel after my second night. I was able to use this opportunity to ask for a refund for my 3rd night, which I'm very happy they agreed to. I ran out as soon as I could! But the refund took over 3 weeks, after I chased them multiples times. The 2 nights I stayed were also deleted from the system, which prevented me from getting points for the stay. I had to chase them and Marriott multiple times to have it fixed.Location is not as good as you see online, felt pretty unsafe. There's a couple of tube stations nearby though, which was nice. Hyde Park is a few minutes away, so it's nice for a morning jog.Breakfast experience was different but pretty decent. The staff at the breakfast place were nice, which is why I give the overall service 2 stars. There was someone at the reception, that I assume was the manager or owner. He just seemed to awkwardly smile when guests pass by. He was trying to strike up a conversation about how "good" my stay and the hotel was. I was in a rush and was trying to leave, but he was very snarky and said "You seem to be in a rush to go away". This was such an awkward conversation. The gym was a small room with a Peloton, a couple of weights and a bench. You're supposed to book your slot well ahead of time because it's small enough to fit only 1 person at a time - this information was not communicated during check in. It was communicated only when I called to ask for the gym hours and location. After "reserving" the gym for me, they didn't give me access. I went up to the lobby after I couldn't get in, and I was told I should've gone to the reception to get access first if I wanted to use their gym. Simply absurd...Overall, I could not believe this is sold as a 4 star Marriott property. This is a cheap economy hotel at best! Easily the worst Marriott Bonvoy experience. Never again!!

Overall fine hotel in a convenient location to central London. Rooms are small but I liked that I wasn't paying for anything more than I needed.Unfortunately my friend was robbed within 3 meters of their front door (phone stolen by a man on a motorcycle). The staff said that is common in the area, so unfortunately I wouldn't recommend the hotel. I would have liked the staff to be more responsive to my friend. She was calm and composed when talking with them, but they had a kind of 'oh well' feeling about them. The manager was supposed to check CCTV footage to help with my friend's phone insurance claim (and police) but they never got back to her and shrugged it off by her telling.

Sadly, I thought I was going to like this place more than I did. The ambience is clean and charming, don't get me wrong, and it is very conveniently located. …

Travelers beware!||I booked one of the single rooms for a late night flight into London because of its proximity to Paddington station. …

Unfortunately, this was a really bad hotel. It is sold through the Marriott app and website, but it is not Marriott quality at all. The front desk stuff is just really weird and made me feel very uncomfortable. The rooms are tiny. A lot of people have commented on that before, but I did not expect that my room would truly be closet-sized. My room was also not very clean. Hair everywhere. There is no coffee in the room, just tea. I was on the ground floor (room 015) and the hotel’s laundry is right above, so I heard the washing machines all day and night and the room was vibrating. The hotel staff also did not provide the Marriott-guaranteed late check-out to Bonvoy Titanium Elite members. Lastly, there was no real window in my room. Just milky glass to some very noisy courtyard. The area is horrible as well. Feels very unsafe. Awful all around! Never again.
