The best aspect of this hotel is its location, directly in front of the city center and just a two-minute walk from the tube station.I stayed here for five nights, and while they did vacuum the floors and take out the trash, they didn’t change the bedding at all. It would have been nice if they changed it every couple of days. When I asked the reception about it, they mentioned a £25 charge for cleaning and bedding, which I found excessive given the hotel price. They also charge £15 for each luggage storage, but we found a nearby store that offered much cheaper rates. The room was small, but it was still more spacious than typical rooms in Tokyo. One issue was that there was no door between the shower room and the toilet, causing water to spread everywhere in the toilet area.I didn’t mind the sound of the tube, as it didn't disturb my sleep. However, I did notice some insects in my room, possibly flies, which made me uncomfortable.Overall, it’s an okay choice if you’re looking for a budget hotel with a great location.

i loved my stay at the Zedwell Underground. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of London, steps away from Tottenham Court Road station. The design of the hotel is innovative and modern, making the most of the underground space. My room was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. While it is true that the rooms are not large, they are designed to be efficient and functional. I liked the minimalist decor and soft lighting. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful at all times. They helped me with all my questions and needs, and were always willing to offer recommendations on places to visit in the area.I was impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel. Everything was spotless and well kept. The value for money is excellent. Considering the location and the services offered, I think the Zedwell Underground is a very attractive option for those looking for a cheap and comfortable hotel in central London. In short, I recommend the Zedwell Underground to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in London. Don't hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed."You can customize this review based on your own experiences and preferences. Remember to highlight the positive aspects of your stay and be honest in your evaluation.Mr. Edison was especially kind and helpful, always willing to offer recommendations and solutions for any needs I had.

I love everything about Zedwell hotels. They are nailing it. "Your Private Sanctuary. Where Serenity Awaits" is spot on.A no-frills, budget hotel chain where the basics are delivered with a smile; the feel is more up-market spa than budget hotel, and yes, the rooms are tiny, but the bed is comfortable, the shower is powerful, and I sleep longer due to the removal of light pollution. All budget hotels should be more Zedwell.

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. No heat, AC only, can’t take the chill out of the air. Turn air off and it gets stuffy. Turn air on and it’s too cold. I get that we were underground, but you would thing they would have heat to remove the dampness if it was chilly. No place to set toiletries in shower but they do provide shampoo and bodywash, but I like to have my razor and conditioner in there…no floor mat, whole place gets wet since there is no door on the shower and space under the sliding glass bathroom door, all glass dividing the bathroom from the rest of the room so no privacy. Best part of the bathroom is, if two people shower one after the other with the air off, the fire alarm goes off and the staff come checking on you while someone is still naked in the shower. But they don’t come back to see why the alarm is going off or apologize for our inconvenience of it. There is no privacy from the rest of the room when you are using the toilet. No place to set luggage, hang clothes, etc. You hear the tube every 90 seconds and the sound of others flushing toilets or water draining echos throughout, every time you run water, sounds like someone is plunging a toilet, you can hear the people above you talking and walking and dropping things…so saying “innovative soundproofing, we ensure uninterrupted rest” is totally false! You have to pay £10 to rent a hair dryer or iron and ironing board, £15 per piece for luggage storage, if you check in even 15 min early, it’s £40. There is also no TV, which wasn’t a big deal to us. The final kicker was blood filled bed bugs we found in the morning!!! No rest, no privacy, no amenities. Not worth it! Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

I stayed solo in the Tottenham court road location after a Taylor Swift gig and found the hotel great value for central London & exactly what I needed. Unlike the negative reviewers, I went into my experience knowing that my room would be underground, with no windows and there would be extra charges for hair dryers etc. additional costs for early/late check in/check out. I was in a rush to check in at 3pm but it was super easy with the app, no requirement to queue to pick up a physical key! But the option is there. The staff had called me the day before and were super helpful on both occasions, friendly answering any questions! The double room was clean and I arrived back late at 11.30pm to a cool, calm and quiet space! And slept soundly in a comfy bed after a hot shower. You would have to be very familiar with the other person if staying more than one to a double room as it was cosy and the frosted glass on the toilet doesn't off too much privacy but effective for additional lighting in the space - if it was solid, it would be too dark!My only downside was having to pay extra to store luggage! I had a very small, heavy hand bag and was told on the phone they would only charge for large suitcases but this wasn't the case. Free luggage store would make the experience sweeter and an 11am check out instead of 10!

This is not the place for you if you enjoy a quiet nights sleep. The noise from the underground is pretty much a constant. I stayed In the cocoon double and the mattress was unsupported as 1ft of it was hanging off the edge of the frame.Over all it was clean and the staff were lovely. Sadly, due to noise and room setup I will not be staying again nor would I go out of my way to recommend
