We stayed at The Pride of Paddington for a few days on a trip to England and loved it! We arrived early (8:30am) on the day of our first reservation but they welcomed us and allowed us to store our luggage while we headed out to enjoy the city. We checked into our rooms later in the day and again the staff was friendly, kind and very welcoming. The rooms were great! Clean, comfortable and everything you could need and more! We had several meals and drinks in the pub over the course of our stay and the food was great as well. The location, directly across the street from Paddington train station, is so convenient and the pub/inn is just lovely. I really recommend The Pride of Paddington very highly, the place and staff are top notch.

I had a wonderful stay at the Pride of Paddington! The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, it was quiet and the breakfast included in the morning was delicious.  …

Absolutely amazing pub. The food was delicious. Staff were amazing. Accommodated a group of eight with ease even though we had no booking and they were fairly full.Food was another level. Not pub grub but authentic quality pub food. It was exactly what we wanted from a pub experience in London.

Pros : super clean room, staff quite nice, English breakfast when available very very good. ||Cons : room super noisy, not because of the location, but because of the A/C. …

Perfect accommodation for our needs. Large room, good quality amenities, comfortable bed and perfect location to Paddington Station for an early train the next morning. We were surprised how quiet the room was considering it was right above the pub.

Good pub in terms of atmosphere etc. However, when we ordered food at the bar they added 12.5% service charge without comment. It is mentioned in tiny typeface on the bottom of the menu. We wouldn’t mind if a) it we were asked if we wanted to pay as it was ‘discretionary’, b) they had table service and took our order and c) the charge was only for food but they added it for drinks too!Probably not worth eating here as there are plenty of places nearby that are less underhand in how they make a profit from their customers.

This is strictly about the pub, didn't stay here, didn't eat here. The location is perfect, just outside of the Paddington station Elizabeth Line entrance, it is on a cozy corner, not as busy as others. Good draft selection, stay to the basics that is what always say. There are outdoor seats where you can people watch and enjoy the good weather when you have it. The pints are about £6.50 - £ 7.50, not bad.

This was near our hotel. We had to duck in because it started to rain. The prices were a bit high compared to other pubs in the neighborhood. We got wings and I got chicken tenders. Not very good at all. I think there's better pubs around. We saw a couple leave most of their fish and chips. That was before we got our food. Understood why once got our food!

Proper english Pub with good beer and the food was good as well. During our first visit (we sat inside and it was possible to order on the table) the service was good - litte bit slow but good. On the second day we sat outside and the service was horrible. You were not able to order on the table, nor using the ordering app. The empty plates and glasses stood on the table for ages.It depends really on the time when you are in.

Lovely pub not far from Paddington Station. We had sandwiches with a bowl of chips. Generous portion sizes. We sat outside (roadside) as the weather was good. A/C if you fancy sitting inside on a hot day.
