Incredibly friendly and service-minded staff. We arrived several hours before check-in, and they quickly prepared the room so that we could check in earlier. The rooms were a bit small, but the cleanliness was good. …

The receptionist's behavior is unethical, as he orders us not to leave the room and the cups are not clean after drinking. The receptionist's behavior is very bad. The rooms are very small. The bathroom is very small. The sheets are not clean. I do not advise anyone to rent this hotel. It is very small and its location is annoying. You hear maintenance work and the noise of cars. You will not be able to sleep. We were half an hour late and they imposed a fine of 25 pounds on us. This hotel is one of the worst days of my life.

My partner booked here so when we checked in and they asked for the £100 deposit I was a bit skeptical, and then I read the reviews and how difficult it was to get it back, I was panicked! However only a few hours after we checked out it was back in our account! The room was basic but cute! Few dents in the wall and wallpaper peeling but that doesn’t bother me! All I need is a shower and a comfy bed and I’m happy. The tv was a nice bonus! And the location for its price was unbeatable! Next time I’m in London I’ll be staying here again! The downside of course was the deposit which we didn’t budget for and should definitely not be so high. It took a good chunk out of our spending money. It’s also all stairs and we were on the top floor, no lift. So if you have disabilities or can’t manage stairs, it’s probably a no go for you.And lastly it was hot! Very warm room, we had a fan but it didn’t make a huge difference. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me but I do know people who wouldn’t be able to cope with that heat and no AC.

We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by friendly staff who checked us in quickly, we went to our room on the third floor to find a small but neat & tidy room which was more than we expected for the money. …

Base hotel with No Elevator/Lyft and No A/C and a basic front desk that is ok! The rooms are tight for a family of four along with your luggage. …

I had a bad experience. When I arrived at the hotel, I wasn’t given a reserved room even though I’d booked one through Klarna. They told me I could pay directly, but i had to pay more so I did. I had to pay around 579 pound. After the trip, I assumed everything was settled, only to find out later that I still owed Klarna an additional around 400 pound. I called the hotel, asking for a receipt to show Klarna that I’d already paid, but they never sent it despite many reminders. In the end, I had to pay around 4000 pound plus late fees. Overall, I ended up paying around 10,000 NOK for a room with no bathroom. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel—it feels like a money trap. Terrible experience.

Would definitely stay here again next time I’m visiting London. I am a female solo traveller on a budget and this was perfect for me. I previously opted for a hostel in London to save money but I realised I preferred the comfort of having my own space while still not dropping too much money so this was a better option for me. The room I stayed in was pretty tiny and basic but this didn’t bother me because I wasn’t looking for fancy. It was clean, comfy, quiet and well located which is perfect for what I needed. Staff were friendly and I felt safe. I love how near it is to Hyde park and public transport

It is what it is, the hotel doesn’t claim to be 5 star and it’s not. ||The location is perfect for events at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, less than 5 minutes. ||My single room was small, basic and up 4 flights of narrow stairs. ||No complaints though. I did my homework and got what I expected.

A very pleasant place to stay. Amil and staff gave me a warm welcome on first arrival. The rooms are beautifully presented, clean and have the basic needs covered. You can tell they care about presentation by the folded toilet roll ends. Who goes to this effort these days! Highly recommend the LCH for position, presentation and comfort.
