Location was great and a major factor in selecting this Hilton. We also selected because they offer balcony rooms, which is what I booked and prepaid for. Unfortunately, check in was a nightmare. Arrived a little after 3pm - kept being told my room was not ready, an hour later I was offered 2 free drinks in the bar because the room was almost ready. 15-20 minutes later Jason brought me the keys. After a long travel day, we were ready to get to our room. Upon entering the room, there was NO balcony. I went back to front desk to be told the balcony rooms had no AC and the room I was given was my only option. Interestingly, there were guest in those rooms during my entire stay. They did issue a credit for the difference; however, the situation was not handled properly. We really wanted to be able to sit on a balcony with a glass of wine after exploring. If a balcony is important to you, be cautious.

I'm an American, so of course I thought the rooms were a bit small, but you have to remember where you are. For London it was quite spacious. Located closely to public transportation and restaurants, I found everything I needed here. Stayed for 10 days and would go back. Room offered king-sized bed, armoire, and desk with chair, perfect for business travel. Had fridge, electric kettle, and espresso machine and is in walking distance to the Westfield mall. Fantastic hotel.

The worst experience in London ever! Rooms were too small and not clean. No drinking water, no hairdryer. The room had kettle boiler and tea but ironically no cups. The toilet did not contain toilet paper until we had to request it. One of our rooms did not contain even a trash bin. Although floor was dirty no slippers provided and my socks were black from the dirt. This is not even a 3 stars criteria. The only good thing is the location.

My wife and I stayed in one room and my sister in another. The rooms were not huge but perfectly adequate and on a par with other 4-star London hotels. I was impressed by the front-desk staff and Housekeeping. When we arrived, our room was ready but my sister's was not and the Receptionist said she'd call us when the room was ready - in fact she came up to our room with my sister's door key. My sibling checked out before us and a little later Housekeeping knocked on our door with a box of costume jewelry that she'd left behind. We were most impressed! We were a bit disappointed by the breakfast - there was sufficient choice but the hot food didn't seem as hot as it should have been.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, and the location, right across from Hyde Park, was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Vinay and Namitha, who made us feel warmly welcomed, like family. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and memorable experience.

The stay was comfortable and enjoyable, as always, with Hilton. The staff was incredibly supportive, especially Namitha, whose hospitality was rated a perfect 5 out of 5. I look forward to staying here again.||Food was also great & delicious.

Avoid this place at all costs. I’m not sure how it’s rated as a 4 star hotel. When I got to my room there was a sticky residue all over the floor on one side of the bed and the bathroom was dirty. I was tired from a long flight so decided to ignore it and take a shower. While in the shower I discovered that the conditioner was empty (in a room that I just checked into) I called front desk and complained about the empty toiletries and dirty room and they offered to move me to a new room. They were apologetic and gave me a room on a higher floor as an upgrade. However this room was worse than the first one. I’ve attached pictures of how broken and run down it is. There were strands of hair in the bathroom floor, marks on the bedsheets, dust mites in the corners, marks on the toilet seat and dried up liquid on the floor. The room itself is falling apart as well. And as if things couldn’t possibly get any worse my first morning there I saw insects crawling on the ceiling. Absolutely disgusting and without a doubt the dirtiest and worst hotel i’ve ever stayed at. The only positive is that the staff so far have all been very friendly and welcoming.

Close to Paddington and other sites. Service from all staff and specifically, Arif, was outstanding. Gave us extra attention to help us get breakfast quickly to make our flight connection. Rooms were very comfortable and clean.

This is my second Review on the Doubletree by Hilton Hyde Park, London. We ( elderly Couple ) stayed for 6 Nights in the Deluxe King Room.In my opinion the Room is very basic and plain. The Room Service is inconsistent, the first Day the Room Service put 3 Coffee Capsules, the second Day only one then nothing, we have to ask for it. The Breakfast were below Par, not enough Choices and there were Gaps for the availability of Breads, Jams, Juices & others as it seems they are Understaffed. So in my Opinion the most it’s a three Star Hotel & not a four Star Hotel as advertised on the various Booking Apps. However the final Hotel Rating must include its Location and the General Services. During our Check In & Out and throughout our 6 Nights Stay, we were served by a young Staff, his name is Vinay. He is so courteous, helpful and put a lot of attention to details to make our Stay like in a 5 Star Hotel.Because of him I have increased the Overall Rating of this Hotel to a 4.5*.I would strongly commend Vinay to be promoted to a more Senior Level. He definitely can improve the Areas that need to be taken care of.
