The location of thos Hotel is perfect,in easy walking distance of the town.|The food is excellent. |Great hotel bar.|The only negative was the stairs to the bedrooms. It is very difficult when carrying suitcases.|Hopefully, that will be improved during the renovation as we will be back.

We have been every year for the last 6 years. It was nice to see some of the same staff. Earl was a friendly character as ever. We never minded the higgledy piggledy layout of the hotel. It was always part of the charm.  …

The staff at hotel were extremely helpful nothing was too much trouble. Everyone took interest in our children and spoke to them which was lovely. Earl the night Porter was a character and again nothing was too much trouble. …

My partner and I had a lovely stay. We booked a room with an estuary view, but we would have preferred being on the 1st floor to get an even better view. …

Stayed for 2 nights on a Travelzoo deal, good value for money. Our room was on the top floor and large in size, with a great view and the heating certainly works but in need of a refresh/update. Good clean bathroom with a good working shower but not much space around the toilet. Staff were great, really friendly, polite and caring. The dining room looks to have recently been updated and is very welcoming. Food was very good although some of the advertised starters were not available. Good selection on the wine menu.

Our second stay at the Quayside hotel, fourth time in Brixham. We arrived to friendly staff, dropped off the bags at the door and took the car to the private car park just up the road. …

Great location just a short walk to the harbour, town, bars and restaurants - but it is up hill. Has private car park but is a 5 minute walk away, you can unload outside and pick up the barrier access card. Small bar and lounge. …

Really friendly and helpful staff, from the front office to the breakfast staff. Everyone greeted you with a smileThe location is great but the hotel needs some money spent on it. We had a very noisy room, floor boards upstairs and below made a lot of noise and the doors also slam whenever closing. The shower was good but the bathroom smelt and bit of cigarettes
