We have just had a wonderful break at the Thurlestone Hotel with our two children. The setting is stunning, we felt relaxed as soon as we got out of the car! Our room had a big balcony with amazing sea views, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Both evenings we ate at the pub and the food was delicious, again the staff were so attentive and welcoming. We used the indoor and outdoor pools, the games room and enjoyed a drink in the sun in the gardens, it was the perfect stay with something for everyone. We’re looking forward to returning next year! Thank you to Daniel and your fabulous team x

Youngest son away on a residential trip giving my wife and I a chance to take a quick break. ||This hotel delivers an exceptional experience. The welcome, attitude and professionalism of staff, attention to detail, the food. It ticks all the boxes. Stunning surroundings, inside and out.

So much of this stay was a 5 star review but sadly the rest was so poor we had to give it 3 stars. |The good bits… a free upgrade to a seaview balcony room - beautiful view and room. …

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with a view of the sea. It has a friendly feel with nearly all the staff saying hello and smiling. Everyone was keen to answer any queries we had. The bedroom was spacious and clean with a large balcony and chairs to sit and take in the view. The spa facilities are very good, we both had a massage which was expertly done. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, it has plenty of sun loungers and a nice bar. The food in both the restaurant and the pub was excellent, we will definitely visit again.

Needed to unwind , and what better place than theThurlestone Hotel , greeted by very friendly, polite receptionist who couldn't have been more helpful. We had a swim in the Spa , which is only around 20m long but more than enough, the jacuzzi is quite powerful, which was really good for my Back and Sciatica. After a couple of hours slashing around , afternoon Cream tea on the terrace , delicious.Well worth indulging yourself.

We returned to this lovely hotel for a short break after 5 years. Our every need was anticipated without us even having to ask . every member of staff goes out of their way to give an excellent service. We ate in the terrace bar mostly, which has a high stand of small meals and a delicious cream tea!The gardens are a pleasure to walk in and the view accross the bay is a pleasure to wake up to.If you are looking for a high standard of customer service , you will not be disappointed. This standard of hotel is a rarity to find these days, and we would not hesitate to recommend

Only had dinner so cannot comment on rooms. Service at table fantastic. Food as a whole was fantastic, however steaks were not so great, part of that was several in the group mentioned the steak was a little tough, on a personal note I found mine a little to chargrilled but I fully understand that is personal preference.
