The room was basic, carpet was dirty with stains. The room was cold, was given a small heater as heating was on a timer and wouldn't be on during our stay. The bathroom was small, the shower was warm, I asked for extra pillows, was told they didn't have any. There were not enough plug sockets. They need to do an upgrade as tired and basic. The location and views from breakfast room are the only good thing about this hotel.

Great location, town is walkable and it's not too far up the hill, shower was great, toilet was cleanNegativesEverywhere needs re-decorating, room is dated but large, but that's ok for a few nights.Breakfast was in Appleby's and is ok, choice of full English, pancakes, with hel[p yourself tea, coffee, cereal and toast.Reception staff, weren't rude just indifferent, key thrown on the counter and carried on a conversation with another member of staff about a night out when checking out, no thank youMusic is loud until 11 but didn't bother us too muchCar park is hit and miss first come first serve but there is a public car park next door a few hundred meters. All in all ok but wouldn't stay again

The family room is very spacious. The bathroom is pretty small but has what you need. The views are fab. Lots of stairs so if mobility Is an issue be aware. Breakfast was OK., nice that it's built into the price.

Poor hotel. Quiteold, worn and grubby. Hairs in bathroom. Build up of limeade and stains. Lights are very dim. Lots of steps. Very low grade breakfast. What they call Orange juice is an absolute trade misdescription. Receptionist was nice and helpful. Other staff really poor.

We stayed just for one night in the Heritage whilst travelling. Despite it just being the two of us, we were allocated a very large room on the top floor, which could only be a family room (21) with a great view out to the sea. …

Very tired room with a tiny double bed and an awful chemical cleaning smell. Some of the PowerPoints didn’t work and the shower was barely warm. The worst part however was the food at the bar it was inedible. We order ribs and the homemade chilli con carne both were very poor unfortunately. The breakfast wasnt any better.

Room is comfortable but needs updating furniture lacks style. Got woken up early as recycle glass bins too close to the room on the ground floor could do a repositioning away from building possibly in the car park area as the noise disturbed sleep. Food cooked n presented well. If u have walking difficulties hotel on a hill so please be careful. But a pleasant stay would go again. But I would love to see some improvements which would have given a better score in my personal opinion.
