We came here for a family short break. Great location. We had superior room with sea view which we were happy with. Had the usual tea and coffee but also a coffee machine and bottled water. We stayed full board. Breakfast was standard buffet. Evening meals were of a great standard, small choice but it was lovely both nights. Found all staff friendly and helpful. Ideal location for exploring the area. Would stay again if in area

This is a large hotel building with parts dating back to the early part of the 20th century. The parking is an additional charge but you will get a space. The grounds of the hotel are large and lead to the promenade. …

Tired hotel. Rooms are very clean, just dated. Service and food excellent and great value for money. Grounds are immaculate. Outside needs a good paint and clean up but overall very good, dog friendly. Would happily stay again if down that way. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Is this hotel the smartest and most corporate you can find? Absolutely not but there is a lot to recommend it.||Firstly, it is very good value for money and in a fabulous location with the beach literally across the road.  …

A fairly nice hotel. Great location by the beach, lovely gardens. Friendly staff especially the waitresses (but excluding the grumpy barman!). Good breakfast and excellent evening meals. Good scones for cream tea.... but you cannot get them after 3pm?! Madness! Downsides were the noise. Noise from car park on several nights, youths congregate there and scream and shout. Not pleasant. Walls very thin also, can hear tv, snoring, conversations . .one night could not get to sleep til after midnight. Also dogs yapping all the time, if you dislike dogs this is not the hotel for you.
