Requested a twin room and got a double with an additional camp bed which was only suitable for a child.Staff were pleasant enough, cleanliness was OK. Parking easy.We didn't sleep a wink as alarms, shouting and noise all night (we did have the window open). Woke us up every hour or so...

I booked this Travel Lodge, because the Premier Inn was fully booked, for our engineer. When he arrived the gentleman described where the room was, and that was it. The engineer then went to look for the bar and the door had a padlock on it, he went back to the reception and they then told him the kitchen and bar are closed permanently. I initially called to book this hotel and not a word was mentioned. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone after a hard day at work, thank you.

Stayed here for 3 nights for work, friendly staff on reception, rooms are a little dated now but was clean. This is on a services so fast food available but also a few places within walking distance to go snd have a meal and a drink. A lot cheaper than other hotels in the area.

We got the room at a steal of a price, the lady on arrival was so friendly and helpful. The room is a touch dated, but incredibly clean and for the price is amazing. The toilet had a slight continuous run but we only noticed the next morning, didn't affect sleep at all. It's not the Ritz, but we wanted affordability, and it went beyond expectations for the price.

The staff were helpful, the lady on reception gave us a list of places to eat as there are no places for food at this Travelodge. The hotel is looking dated, tired and indeed of a drastic refurb. The main downstairs corridor has an old dirty carpet, the walls are scratched in a number of places and haven't been repainted or repaired. The doors to the rooms don't have handles and are only accessible by key, which isn't a big deal really. The bathroom door had no lock. Neither was it particularly clean with build ups of dirt in the corners where the floor meets the walls. The bed was comfortable enough, although it only had a very thin top sheet and not a duvet. It does the job by providing a bed for the night but wouldn't stay here again

Simple but effective roadside hotel. Rooms appear a little aged, although facilities work well and seem well maintained. Comfy beds with plenty of extra bedding available. Friendly staff are easy to find. Breakfeast pack surprisingly nice. Pain in the neck to find.

After a long drive I arrived at this hotel and had a room at the far end of the hall. The lady on reception name Trudy noticed I was having trouble walking are my alarms getting my luggage without asking she gave me a room near to reception that is excellent service. This place has a large car park it could do with a bit of a refurb but to be honest it's a well looked after Hotel. It's on the services bird of animal away there's a large Tesco store should you need to buy supplies. What started off as a lousy trip ended in me being very happy.
