I had cause to travel to Plymouth for a sad occasion, a funeral of a family member who lived in the area. Booked accomodation at Gulland House, explaining to receptionist that my arrival time at accomodation was a little unclear due to events of the day. Arrived at 7-45pm to be greeted by receptionist, who was aware of the purpose of my visit. Very friendly staff and checked into my room. My mood was lifted on entery. Beautiful room, spotlessly clean, excellent facilities. The property had been recently renovated to a very high standard. Close to all ammenities in the area. I felt the accomodations standards made a sad day more bearable for me. I would reccomend both the accomodation nad staff working theer very highly. Excellent standards and very reasonably priced. Thank you so much.

Stayed June-22 for 2 nights during a heatwave. Room and building were very hot with no aircon. Modern Double Room was very small with bed against the wall on one side. Fairly priced and a very short walk to the station. Communal kitchen which provides coffee/tea and biscuits. Was unsure if the milk was provided as someone took it into their room.

Great little place, loved the room. It had a few rough edges and finishings that could be fixed like the kitchen door, no mugs, condiments like salt and pepper would be great for the kitchen too. I also found that some of the kitchenware to be grubby like the pyrex dish and baking trays. A few hangers on the clothes rail would also have been greatly appreciated. We did also find the room very stuffy so maybe a fan would also be a great way to make the stay more comfortable. Extremely comfy bed.But as a whole package other than the 45 min wait for the lady to check us in which we were given free parking to compensate and the few minor issues above. I would 100% stay here again, I'm already checking dates on booking.com. Myself and my partner loved the Euston room that we stayed in.

Stayed in the apartment for two days. Very welcoming and friendly receptionist. The apartment, it self was very good. The car park was about 3 min drive away. 5 mins walk to the house. The location is very good, shops close-by, parks and train station very close by. Overall enjoyed my stay.

The room was extremely stuffy and the bed had a broken spring. Did not accommodate at all when we had a 3-4 hour plane delay even when giving notice far ahead of time.

Nice place to stay. Very friendly staff. Check in times limited unfortunately. The pictures on booking.com don't lie. It's nice and tidy. £50 deposit which is paid back after a week(a bit too long in my eyes)

The accommodation clearly, didn't wait for 10 min delay for my trip, I needed a quick accommodation and have missed that the time for check-in is between 15:00-20:00 (5h only),Anyway I phoned them twice on my way to my reservation with thinking that I will relax after the long drive from Scotland, but unfortunately they first the receptionist didn't wanted to wait 10 minutes longer even I gave them 5h advance, second they did reject the check-in hours which on the Booking app was allowed 20:00 till 21:00, but I didn't get my money back in fact they have charged me for that mater nomather that they are in the wrong, so they did know that I will be late and instead of rejecting the whole reservation they even took my money, how they said the lamb whole and the wolf full, so disappointed of that experience and hope Booking help me with that mater!!!

I had a bad experience with the property manager who was completely not flexible about the check in time ( my train was due to arrive 30mn later and they completely refuses to accommodate). I had to rebook a new train ticket to be on time. When I got to the property ( on time ), no one was there... I had to wait until a receptionist came. She was quite professional but was told by her manager to ask for a deposit which was not at all stated on their terms and conditions pre booking. After one hour of losing my time and energy, i got a cancelation through booking who intervened to solve the issue.
