My sister in law and myself had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Beach Hotel. Ideal location for everything, the pier, the town, the harbour and trips out. I cannot praise enough the hosts and their deputy, Andy. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb, and large. The place was spotless and comfortable. I can't wait to go back

We had a 2 night short break as we love this area, The English Riviera! The hotel is 2 star which I don't believe gives it justice. All was very clean and well presented. Adam, the host messaged us to say our room was ready,this was earlier than expected. We managed to park in a space at the hotel which was a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable we both had a good sleep both nights although the bed was very creaky it didn't bother us. Traffic noise was very evident but that's because the hotel is right on the esplanade so to be expected. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious 😋. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Rooms and whole establishment are newly refurbished and they are spotless. The bed was comfortable and warm. Self service continental breakfast or full English breakfast available. Close to the beach, and the town centre is just a few minutes of walk from the hotel. Great value accommodation and breakfast.

We had a warm welcome from the Beach Hotel, and we’re friendly throughout our visit. It’s nice and clean, has wide isles and lift, which we were glad about because of our walking difficulties. Great breakfast sets you up for the day. Prices were good when we came to stay which was nice. The location is good being across from the pier which we love, there was a bike meet up at the front of the pier on Wednesday evening that I really enjoyed.

Although dogs are allowed, there is nothing on the website about a separate charge. I only discovered this at check-in. I have been back on the website to check if it was my error but still cannot see anything. The room was small but clean. The room got very warm so had to open the window. Unfortunately this makes it difficult to sleep during to the noise. Not the fault of the hotel at all and may have been unlucky but were boy racers and people shouting.
