Amazing. Simply amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the atmosphere was exceptional. I unfortunately didn't get the name of our waiter however the young gentleman really made the experience extraordinary, he was comparable to some Michelin star waiters. The Pig is one of the little gems in this area. The location was perfect for a countryside retreat and although I didn't stay overnight I can understand the high ratings for this place. A memorable evening for everyone. Well worth it and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, local and visiting the area.

We’ve been visiting The Folly in October to celebrate a friend’s Birthday since it opened. We love the setting and atmosphere, we’re never rushed. Thanks to Lee and Sophie yesterday’s visit was particularly super. …

Just returned from staying at The Pig in Combe and absolutely loved our stay! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is stunning and our bedroom was particularly beautiful and well sized. We opted for the veg and bed option which was amazing value for money. The food was all fantastic as well as the treatment I had too. My only regret is staying just the one night! Hope to return one day!

Put simply - our favourite place in the entire world. We’ve been meaning to leave this review for a while, particularly following our most recent stay in April for our “mini-moon”.There really is nowhere else like the Pig At Combe - it’s the generosity and warmth of the service, it’s the relaxed, cosy atmosphere they’ve created in such a large, gorgeous space, and it’s the quality of everything you encounter - the food, the drinks, the rooms. In a world where good service can sometimes feel like an after thought, the Pig at Combe is in a league of its own.Thank you so much. We’ll be back (again and again and again).Ed and Chelsea

Staff were friendly and the service was good., especially at breakfast. The room was good, spacious with a good view ( we had booked a comfy luxe room). Breakfast was fine, although I didn’t sample the cooked options. …

A surprise stay at The Pig arranged by our family. The room was beautiful, located on the first floor overlooking the grounds at the front of the hotel and afar. Had the best night's sleep in peaceful surroundings. …

I was treated to a two night stay at the lovely Pig at Combe by my wife for my birthday and our wedding anniversary and we had a fabulous time.We were also with our 14 month old daughter and they were really accommodating. Our room was spectacular with amazing views of the rolling green hills and forest. The best was very comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need including a baby cot.The place itself is lovely with fantastic restaurants/food and drinks. I loved all the hangout areas with their individual fireplaces and the service was impeccable.Location is great with plenty of parking and only a short 15 minute drive to Honiton and the shops. If you’re looking for a great place to celebrate or just have a lovely getaway then I highly suggest staying here.

Stayed in the 2 bed stream cottage ( first time staying at this hotel). We love it but one big issue. I stayed in the room next to the neighbouring cottage (attached) and you hear in the morning as soon as people are up walking around, closing doors, etc. I can deal with that if I could fall back asleep but I could not because the noise from the extraction fan in the other cottage is too loud ( and I wear earplugs). I told them when I was checking out that if they fix that then we will keep coming back to stay. Let’s see
