I have just spent four very comfortable nights at the beautiful Ness Hotel. The location is beautiful with wonderful views across the water into Teignmouth. The rooms are very comfortable with big comfy beds and plenty of room. The decor is quirky and pretty with lots of nice finishing touches. It's all very restful and peaceful. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and competent and go over and above to help especially in challenging situations as I witnessed whilst staying.

Loved our stay at The Ness. The room was stunning with the most beautiful of views from the balcony. I loved sitting there with a cup of tea watching the world go by. …

1, Amazing food. Good enough service and atmosphere.I don't like this service charge thing even if the waitress nicely asking it at paying if I want to pay it. Service charge should include in the food's price!I usually leave tips ..but not like this at all!2, As I can not reply to your reply, I have to write here again. I totally know what is the service charge and I still do not like it. And it is your (the management's job to get the staff compansated for the level of their service giving them fair pay and do not leave it to guests! We, guests leave tips if we wish to and do not like to be asked! I repeat, I usually leave plenty tips.

We were staying locally and popped in for a coffee en route. We were so impressed by our welcome and the ambience of the place, that we booked for an evening meal a few days later. …

Our stay on a Saturday night in early September was very good. We had the last room at the back so we didn't have the benefit of the view out over the Teigne.  …

The food was nice (ish), but the pastry on the chicken pie was very hard and it contained very little meat. The bacon cabbage and the chips that it was served with were very tasty. …

Second time staying at The Ness. Splashed out for the Luxury room and so pleased we did. The views were amazing, the bed was incredible, the bathroom (copper roll top bath with tv on wall) was perfect. Love this hotel so much. The food and drink are great, the staff are helpful and friendly, the breakfast was great and the location is perfect for what we like. Will keep going back in future! Can’t recommend highly enough! Trust me, you’ll love it!

Wow, what amazing food. Anyone doubting the cost of the flat iron steak, order it, the taste pays for itself. Isaac provided a fantastic service and tendered to our every need. This was our first experience here, definitely not our last.
