Stayed as part of a coach party. Hotels catering for coach parties, 3 coaches in on my visit, sometimes fail to deliver. …

I couldn’t fault the staff, they were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and has a lift to reach all floors. Good size lounge area (to relax and for the entertainment) and large dining room. …

Pool was great.Staff were very friendly and had time for all guests.Bingo was good.Rooms a bit small, no safe or fridge. No AC.Our view wasn't great. (Windows needed cleaning and it was of a courtyard and the carpark.)Breakfast was good Really liked the haddock but we all (3) thought the scrambled eggs could be better. Wait staff were very lovely, very fast and helpful. Loved how you could have a full English, porridge and toast! Thanks for everything and for making our trip a lovely one!

An older hotel a road back from the sea front, as with all older hotels on the surface not everything is shiny and new and in some places a little tired but dont let this put you off if you are looking for "Value". …

Stayed for 3 nights. Room was great, food was great. Known gunner the restaurant manager when we stayed years ago, and he is on the ball to run the restaurant to provide the best customer service. …

Have stayed here a few times, staff are fantastic. Location is great, only a short walk to the town and shops. Entertainment is lively and fun. Some rooms could do with a refresh but overall a great place to stay.

I went with a coach party. Everyone in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, as was the whole hotel including the swimming pool. The meals were good, though the gluten free choice was a bit limited. Good value for money overall.Only 5 minutes walk from the seafront or the shops.

We stayed at Queens Hotel to meet with family. The room was small, bed very comfortable, all very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Whilst the Queens Hotel is conveniently located in Paignton (close to the seafront & shops) the hotel itself is quite tired and perhaps needs a bit of a spruce up.Our family room was spacious but so incredibly hot at night (to the point it made our children unwell). Please provide fans for your guests, it was unbearable. The breakfast was appalling. The food was poor quality (fried breakfasts) and barely anything on the plate. When we checked out, the receptionist did not ask how our stay was so I wasn't given the opportunity to voice our concerns.
