The best hotel I've stayed at in Torquay. It's a couple of years old so not old-fashioned at all. Has a nice bar and seating area to work in, as well as a fitness centre. The rooms are great; equipped with a fridge (you need to turn it on at the wall) and the condition of the room is sparkling clean. There wasn't a shower door in the bathroom, which I saw bothered other people. However the shower is big enough to not splash too much water outside of it, so it wasn't an issue to me! Overall a very nice place to stay and will be coming back.

The bed is comfortable and the rooms are clean. That’s where the goodness stops. The menu wasn’t available and what ever i decided to have there wasn’t any in stock. ||There isn’t parking available which is very disappointing. …

Parking is up a steep hill in a dimply lit multi storey car park where they only use the top floor.||Check in was fine, no issues. Bar is open 24 hours.||Room was fine, big and the ned was comfy. The bathroom and shower were fine. …

I’ve stayed here a few times before and not bothered reviewing every time as generally there’s not been much to add: really good mid-budget hotel, nice and modern with all modern cons. …

The hotel was clean. The price was very reasonable and it was a 10 min walk to the beach. Great location. I had a 2 yr old who enjoyed the stay too. Lots of eateries around and you get a free breakfast too. …

Lovely hotel which is a really welcome addition to Torquay. Great reception and comfortable rooms. Car parking is not bad considering the location, parking over the road was £10.10 a day (local council car park). Breakfast was really great, a huge selection and really good. I wasn't mad on the fact the shower door had been removed (seems to be a thing reading other reviews) as the water splashes on the floor and the grouting has started to fail. Also, the power switch for the fridge wasn't marked at all, so it took a bit of cable tracing to find out which one it was! A simple sticker would make such a difference.I will stay again next time I'm in the bay!

Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is no hotel parking at the Hampton by Hilton. There is a 24hr car park close by but you have to move your car after 24hrs. …

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in a king room. Lovely quiet location, hotel itself very quiet. Good sized room and a good shower, very comfortable bed, good a/c, and perk having a fridge in the room. All staff from check- in to breakfast staff friendly and efficient. Good breakfast, consistently replenished keeping everything hot and fresh. Breakfast staff all chatty and ready with a big welcoming smile in the morning. Check out efficient and quick. Only down sides (only minor) no face flannels or cotton buds etc in the room. Other than that a really good stay. If we come back to Torquay we would definitely stay here again 🙂

Not enough breakfast being brought out. Ran out of pastries.Over my stay had to ask for more food to be bought out at least 3 of the days as the hotel was not topping up quickly. I guess its due to staff shortages or saving on food costWhen asked for more breakfast to be bought out, staff member rudly snapped.Toilet flush broken.Duty manager on 21 August wouldn't allow children to eat there ice-cream in the lobby. Other days nobody said a word. When family member asked to show where it says in the policy manager said it doesn't , its just what she was told. Said ice-cream would have to be purchased from the hotel.Morning manager with a beard, never smiles and when politely spoke to him, he seemed to have an attitude. The following day we went to purchase ice-cream at 9:10pm to be told they on night menu and ice-cream is not available.I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody as cost saving comes before customer service. Please save your money and book the Premier Inn across the road.
