Great little campsite. Staff are really lovely and welcoming. Very relaxed atmosphere. The farm shop and restaurant are very handy as just across the road, can recommend the Sunday lunch! Lots of walks from the site. It can be a little busy at the 2 bathrooms/toilets if the site is fairly full but not really a problem. Hot water and a shelter over the washing up area would be handy if possible.

Had a wonderful four night stay on site. The wash room facilities were kept very clean and everything was in good working order. The farm shop is stocked with lots of local and homegrown goodies. Beef, pork, and lamb from their own farm animals. Caroline and Amy were very helpful as were the rest of the staff. Would definitely stay again but next time take my ear plugs. The bell tower chimes on the hour and half hour which is delightful during the daytime and evening but I am a light sleeper. It wouldn't put me off going back for another stay though. Highly recommended.

Fantastic campsite with great countryside views. Just 2 lovely clean toilets, with a shower in each, but never had to wait to use them over the long weekend away. Choice of EHU or non electric pitches & they're a great size too. …

Very impressed with organisation and friendly e-mail prior to arrival. Site was picturesque, well-maintained and generally quiet; many pitches were on a slight slope.Toilet rooms were spacious and clean. Farm shop was opposite and was well-stocked. Pub was a very short walk away, and the landlord was very welcoming. Village is quaint but small with no other shops. There was some noise throughout including from the bell tower on the farm and a background hum from the main road.Another toilet would have been useful to prevent queuing, and hot water/ shelter for the outdoor washing-up sinks would have been handy.Would definitely return if in the area!

We had booked in 3 vans on the site and were all put together. We were shown to our pitches and told where the facilities were. Two toilets and showers all very clean. We booked lunch in the farm house kitchen. Food was good service could have been better. One of the ladies serving us decided to open not so chilled beers and expected us to be happy with them. Maybe a better idea to say that they were not chilled before opening them.

Manor Farm was an excellent campsite, the pitches were well mown and the facilities provided were clean and worked perfectly. The staff were helpful in getting set up and settled and we happy to help with any needs. The farm shop had the best English breakfast I have had in years.

Stayed the bank holiday weekend. Lovely little site and you feel in the middle of nowhere, but are actually 10 minutes from towns etc.Had a lovely warm welcome and shown to our pitch on arrival. Lovely little welcome leaflet with all info you need. The farm shop is lovely and produce fabulous. It costs a little more than your normal, but you do get what you pay for. The pork sausages were amazing!!We didn't try the cafe as we have dogs, although we could have sat outside, or had a take away. The toilet block is clean and modern. Two little bathrooms in a shepherd hut type wooden building. Unfortunately, I only managed to use these facilties once and the site was full. 20 pitches and mostly families. We were in a caravan so we used our facilties, so not a big deal for us. For those in tents, may gave been a little more of an issue. Now, the locals.... what can I say??? So so so welcoming!! Everyone we came across was so nice. We visited the pub in the village and had the same reception there, as did our doggies. One of the main things we enjoyed at this site was the wildlife. Sounds of birds, and the amazing sight of the Red Kites flying, well gliding, overhead. Very close too.It was our first time at this site and we will definitely be returning.Thank you for a lovely stay

A delightful and quiet little gem of a site. Caroline couldn’t have been more accommodating in terms of facilitating a late (and then even later than anticipated) arrival. The facilities were spotless, the farm shop across the way was reasonably-priced, well-stocked (particularly the drinks section..!) and a genuinely impressive operation. As other reviews mention, the site is on a slight slope so some care in setting up and levelling the caravan is in order, but it’s no substantial issue and certainly hasn’t put us off from returning, which we’re already planning to do in the summer.

Lovely view over the countryside from the field. Well mown. Two toilets & showers on site. Close to the A5 with easy access to the M1. We stopped for one night on the way north. Would use as stop-off again.  …
