Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again. Very reasonably priced, lovely big rooms and bathroom. The only comment I'd make is that it would be great if there was a towel rail directly next to the sink.Would definitely recommend booking a table of you want to eat on the restaurant as it's clearly popular and got very busy during our stay. The food was lovely, very filling. Breakfast was good too, poached eggs could have had a another minute, but that's me being fussy. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and polite.

It has been more than 10 years since I last visited The Dun Cow and I’ve been twice in the last 2 weeks! It did not disappoint. The staff were really friendly and efficient. The food was great too. I had the hunters chicken and the fish & chips - both were delicious! Will be back soon I’m sure. Highly recommend!

Although booked a week or two in advance our table was not set up when we arrived. Bar staff not attractive on our arrival. Long delay in our starters arriving. Food a number of choices not a available and only very average. Asked if we wanted sweets when some guests were still eating their main course. Very expendive for what we receivec We will not be returning.

Recently had our first experience at The Dun Cow in Rugby, and it was fantastic! The food was not only tasty but also presented beautifully. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The interior of the restaurant had a cozy countryside pub atmosphere, adding to the charm. We left feeling satisfied and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Went in on Friday for a meal, hardly anything left on the menu. Opted for just fish and chips and drinks, goodness knows what the chef was doing but took a whole hour for the food to come out. Didn't bother with a dessert it was pointless. Been here before for Sunday roast dinner and it was fabulous that's why we returned, not sure if there was a lack of staff in the kitchen. But I would be very dubious in returning unless it was on a Sunday.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The pub does get very busy on a Sunday so book early and I would even book an early time to eat. We had Sunday roast and it was fantastic.

No photos, unfortunately! I was far too busy eating the beautiful and well presented food. I had the beef and red wine homemade pie of the day served with creamy mash and seasonal veg. Has to be one of the best pies I've ever eaten! Followed by the mini chocolate brownie with honeycomb ice cream and a coffee. Lovely country pub and good service. Well done!

We had to wait over an hour for our food. The restaurant and bar were woefully understaffed as was, I assume, the kitchen because even the manager couldn’t come to see us as she was having to help with food preparation. Until the upper management start listening to the restaurant manager and their staff, the situation will only get worse

My waitress was fantastic, I have a dairy intolerance and it seemed no problem for her to ask for my meal to be altered.Sadly the chef sent the wrong steak (sirloin not rib eye) The sirloin was very tough from not hanging long enough. My waitress credited the incorrect steak. It was a shame.

I arrived Sunday around 3.30pm. No dedicated area for check in so i waited for the extremely busy staff to serve me. The restaurant was packed full of punters & so i summised that thw food was probably decent. I was given instructions on how to find my room & duly found it. Room decor was OK but mould in the shower cubicle & the tv remote didnt work.I unpacked & went to meet friends. I returned to a lousy nights sleep as my room overlooked the traffic lights at the cross junction on the busy A45. Had i known this before I booked, i would probably have booked elsewhere. I decided to not make a fuss as my trip was already fraught enough as I had travelled to attend a funeral. I had booked a brunch breakfast at 9.30am as the website said this was served between 9 & 12 on Mondays. Not much coffee available & then all the hot drinks & juices were cleared away at 9.45. I had the full English breakfast which was pretty good & tasty though the hash browns were a bit soggy in oil. All in all not a very enjoyable experience I'm afraid.
