We booked all 3 houses out for a weekend in Stratford. The properties were clean and tidy. Had lots of pots, pans and cutlery. The beds were comfortable, the WiFi was great (and held up even with 12 people split between the 3 properties). There's a bus stop right down the road to get into Stratford centre (which is a quick journey). We all had a great visit to the area.

12 of us stayed at the cottages over a weekend. We booked via air bnb and the hosts were very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay and during. Including providing us with lots of information about the local area. The location was great with beautiful countryside views. It’s around a 90 minute work down the canal into Stratford. The cottages were lovely and clean, there was plenty of space for 12 people, enough cooking equipment and fridge room for large meals. Lots of sofa space to relax and play games. We all really loved our stay, thanks very much!

We had a fantastic time at the lodge. Friendly reception from the hosts, with lots of info in advance to make the most of the property and the surrounding area. Add in gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside, lovely and clean rooms, comfy beds, and a spacious hot tub, it was brilliant all round.

We stayed in Romeo Cottage for a weekend. Gorgeous cottage in a fabulous location. Perfect for a girls weekend away to catch up, sit in a hot tub and near to Stratford for the markets. The bedrooms are not fully enclosed so noise and light come in but other than that it’s perfect. Jane was great with fab communication and very relaxed. We would definitely recommend.

Really lovely location,Very peaceful but also close to town. Thanks to Jane we had two cottages next door to each other with a hot tub and a large dining table so all the family could eat and chat together! It was the second time we have booked with Shakespeare Holidays and we will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend them for fantastic breaks with that personal touch.

Mon to Fri break, and enjoyed every minute. Cosy, comfortable cottage. Hot tub was a nice temperature and was used a few times a day. A useful tip is to take beach towels as they are much quicker to dry.The king bed was comfortable and shower nice and powerful.Kitchen well equipped.I would definitely book another stay in the future.Host Jane friendly and on point with answers to questions I had.

Recently completed a 3 night stay at the 3 cottages that comprise the Shakespeare Lodge and had a lovely time. A group of 12 of us rented it out to have a catch up and enjoy the hot tub while playing a wide variety of board games.  …
