I loved The Clock Tower B&B. Great location in the beautiful Catesby countryside with many peaceful walks on quiet rural lanes. A very relaxing place to stay with excellent hosts who have a fine attention to every detail. My room and en suite were very large and comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.Rod, Australia

I spent one night before my nearby wedding at The Clock Tower with my bridesmaids and the following night with my new husband in June 2024. The rooms were big enough for our wedding party to all get ready together.Lizzie and Dave are the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They are polite, friendly and very very welcoming. All communications were spot on! The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are fully equipped with everything you could need and more. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the views to front and rear are to die for, the gardens are beautiful, the bathrooms are the very large, the breakfasts are plentiful (and all locally sourced produce) and were delicious. Its such a relaxing peaceful haven of calm and happiness. We cant wait to find an excuse to go back again. They have two beautiful dogs who are a pure delight.

We were visiting the area for my nieces wedding and decided to stay at Lizzie and David's amazing home... The Clock Tower. || After a warm welcome, we were shown to our room with the biggest bathroom ever.  …

What can I say about this B&B... it is utterly fabulous. What a wonderfully presented building, nestled deep in the countryside and offering such a warm, cosy and traditional yet bohemian vibe. Lizzie was the most amazing host, explaining everything and making us feel incredibly welcome. This place is an absolute gem.

We can't recall any stay in a B&B that surpassed the experience at The Clock Tower in Lower Catesby. We had tickets for the Cropredy Festival and needed somewhere calm and beautiful to stay nearby, given the bustle and loud volumes of a major (wonderful) folk festival. And we chose the right place. Lizzie and David welcomed us as if old friends had come to stay for the weekend, the room was delightfully full of art and family photos, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom stocked with all you could need for a luxurious soak. The house has all the charm of an historic property (upstairs the eponymous clock ticks solemnly away); it's surrounded by lush green views and has gardens full of beautiful flowers. Some of these last found their way into pretty arrangements around the house. As for the breakfasts - oh my goodness! The full English was exactly what you'd hope for after a late night enjoying live music - a delicious plate of (very local, next field) bacon and sausages, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast. Fruit and cereal also on offer. The ideal B&B. We will be back!

Beautiful property, hosts, room and surroundings. The building is unique and off the beaten track so really peaceful. Breakfast was lovely combining fresh ingredients and cooked options and served in nice surroundings too. We will definitely be back!

Possibly one of my best b&b experiences. Lovely character house, Lizzie & David are charming delightful people who made us very welcome in their home. The spacious room was fantastic with views over the rolling hills of the countryside. When the sunsets at this time of year its spectacular and can be watched dropping over the horizon from the comfort of the large double bed. It has a large light airy bathroom with an inviting double ended bath. Breakfast was plentiful beautifully prepared by Lizzie. There are some great walks locally Lizzie even offered the lone of their bikes. Can't wait to visit again.
