Some simple improvements would have made our stay more comfortable. Like providing toilet paper and a kettle to make a cuppa. Could not complain about the heating as it was probably a hundred degrees in there. Fortunately we had free on street parking and we left before 8am to find refreshment.

We wanted lunch in Stratford but hadn't booked anywhere. The first 3 town centre pubs we tried were crowded so we walked just a few hundred yards up to the Queens Head. Glad we did, plenty of free tables, well cooked pub food and well kept beer. Only lost one star for so many TVs showing sport. Not a bad thing just not my thing. Would definitely go back and their pricing was more competitive than the central pubs.

Nice place. Staff were friendly and polite. Stoned floor, usual tap beers and a few real ales available. TV on the wall showing sport. Tables and chairs were adequate, descently decorated. Enjoyed my visit.

Very much a pub with rooms to rent. |Pub is ok, just a typical pub. Does food, menu not inspiring but the food coming out looked ok.| Location is good being right in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. …

My husband and I booked in for one night’s stopover on the way home from the North. We were excited as hadn’t been to Stratford upon Avon before. The man in charge behind the bar was neither friendly nor welcoming. …

We paid £160 for two nights at The Queens Head, but left after one night as we hardly slept. We were disturbed by loud noise from the street all through the night, and the room was very light due to the illuminated sign outside our window (which remained on until 6am). When I politely told the manager why we were checking out early, he said "that's a boozer for you" and gave no apology. I thought this was pretty graceless given I wasn't asking for any of my money back - a simple "sorry you slept badly" would've gone a long way. We didn't book expecting luxury, we just needed somewhere to get a night's sleep, and unfortunately The Queens Head failed at the basics. Choose somewhere else when you visit Stratford-upon-Avon!

It is mainly a pub for locals with rooms above , the rooms are ok but wouldn’t want to spend anymore than one night there , it’s very uncomfortable and small . …

Do not stay here if you want a decent nights sleep…there is screaming, shouting, extremely loud music and vibrations from downstairs until late at night.Yes we appreciated there would some noise from the pub but this was excessive…you aren’t warned on booking….management don’t care and don’t call you back…save your money and book elsewhere!

What a dump!| Rooms were filthy. Carpets dirty.|Shower covered on mound and grime. Can’t think of a good thing to say. Noisy.|Locks on doors hardly work, so don’t even think about leaving anything of any value in the room! …
