Now then.......what a place this is, its a little gem of a bed and breakfast slap bang in the areas you want to be for shakespeare. From arrival we managed to get 1 of the 2 parking spaces located outside the property which was ideal and the superb host Paul wasnt home but gave us instructions via the doorbell that we could check in early and that our room was on the 1st floor room 3 a lovely cosy double.Everything was perfect for our 1 night stay and the breakfast was just out of this world. I went with the full english and it was an absolute cracker. Sausage, egg, fried bread, bacon, beans, half a tomato and 4 pieces of black pudding. Absolutely delicious, hats off to Paul on cooking that delight up everything was just sooooo tasty.Had tea, coffee and orange juice available also. Would 100% recommend this place to stay at, location is just brilliant for exploring the area. Also beware when out and about, one of the guests got pick pocketed while looking round the market and Paul said over the last few years some scrotes have moved into the area so please be vigilant folk!I'll be booking the Hamlet House again when and if im back in the area!Great job guys 👍👏

Faultless from start to finish.I booked last minute and Paul, please know your flexibility was incredibly helpful; allowing us to check in much earlier than usual was a huge help to our plans and for that alone we'll stay at Hamlet House every time we come to the area going forward.Paul was welcoming, told us all we needed to know and then left us to it. Perfect. We saw him again for breakfast the following morning (included in the very reasonable price!) - and holy ship, it was delicious! Good quality ingredients make such a difference. There was so much to choose from too.I don't usually eat brekkie but couldn't resist a tiny fry up and it really was as great as a breakfast can be. My partner said the coffee was really great too.The room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, while the decor isn't glamorous, it is quirky and I liked that.Clean, comfortable bed, nice pillows, quality towels and wifi included. Thanks and we'll see you again next time!

Friendly welcome from Paul, the owner of Hamlet House. We had room 1, first floor at the back of the house, with spacious ensuite shower room (decent shower!)Comfy bed and lovely breakfasts, with a wide range of choices. Not far from the town centre, so easy walking distance to good eateries, all the major Shakespeare attractions, etc. 2 parking spaces on front of the house, so only problem is if these are occupied when you get back from a day out in the car and they're taken. Ideal place to stay if you are on the train.

Stayed here for a night after visiting the theatre. Would definitely book again. We had a very friendly welcome. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. There is a great breakfast, with homemade marmalade.
