This is a really lovely pub. It was a bit of a wild card, hadn't been before, I just fancied a drive with the roof off and it was date night so I took a look at trip advisor for somewhere different.I have to say it was really good. The chicken supreme with mushrooms and garlic was to die for and my SO stuffed his too as well as garlic bread which all came out in good time and everything was delicious. The staff were really friendly and the pub was cozy but people weren't sat on top of each other and it had a great atmosphere. Music was there but not invasive and you can still have a chat and not be shouting at each other. I really enjoyed this little find.

Not a hotel, but a pub doing great food. 5 of us went for a meal, all having something different. 1 of our group can be very picky, and can find SOMETHING wrong with any meal. However she really enjoyed what she had. So kudos. Nice decor, friendly efficient staff, an all round good experience.

We were showed to our table fine then got told by the guy taking our order that we were half an hour late for our table as the kitchen shuts. When I said we were offered the time at the time of booking, we were told we had rang the wrong pub and that they like to be home by 8pm (table booked for 5pm) Double checked the number i called and was the right one. Bit of a wait for drinks, which when asked about also got met with a bit of difficulty though appreciate they were busy with a carvery which looked nice. Food good but didn't feel as though we wanted to stay for pudding which is a shame. Nice play area for our child so wouldn't not return but would defintely double check the info we've been given in future.

Went for a family meal on a Thursday pm , went to the bar to order food, was rudely told I should be at the till if wanted food. I picked the lamb chops for dinner, stated came with minted gravy . It did not. Portion size was good , I think the mash had been pre made for few days and there was no mint . When plates were collected , we weren’t asked how the food was . No one spoke or made eye contact as we left ,
