I stayed here for a work day. Quiet location despite being close to the airport. Helpful staff who go the extra mile. The hotel is luxurious and my room had a bath which was a huge bonus. Excellent breakfast with more than you would expect including catering towards dietary needs.

The hotel was a bit dated but the rooms were clean and modern, although with the smallest shower I've ever seen! The staff were friendly and the food was pretty good. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Friendly professional staff. Couldn’t have been more helpful. |Great location. Drinks a bit pricey. Dearer than most London pubs. Room very clean and comfortable. Really good WiFi. |Lily on reception consistently great with each customer.

Check in was shambolic. 5pm clearly peak check-in time, only 3 desks open. 30-40 min wait, soaking wet having trudged from the car park in torrential rain - no respite even when you reach the path in front of the building as there's no awning / shelter.I'd installed the Hilton app on the promise that I could check in virtually, but apparently you still have to go to the desk if it's the first time using it, so pointless. Just had to join the big queue along with everyone else.App suggested I could request late check out, which I did, and got a message via the app confirming 2pm check out - only to go back to my room at 1pm to get my stuff and find I'd been locked out as I'd been automatically checked out at the normal 12pm check out time?! A manager was in the corridor, but couldn't help, necessitating ANOTHER trip back down to reception to get my access reinstated and my key recoded. Another anxious 30 minutes wondering if my stuff would still be there when I got back in the room...I've had better service at Premier Inn, to be honest!Room was standard - certainly not any form of 'upgrade' the app had led me to expect, breakfast was fine. Very much enjoyed the on site pool, though the jacuzzi was 'out of order due to incorrect chlorine levels' both days, which was a shame. Sauna could have been cleaner - really grimy floor!Re conference facilities - tea and milk regularly ran out at break times, which wasn't ideal when on a schedule.

Visited for a conference with over 500 delegates. The staff were friendly and worked hard to ensure that tables were clear, during an extremely busy service even though there didn't seem to have a lot of staff. Well done team! Great breakfast

What a disappointment this place turned out to be. The rooms are OK, but smack of form over function but the big bed is comfortable. The service however is the real issue with this poorly run establishment. Yes it was very busy, but nobody just rocked up, most guests would be similar to myself and booked some time ago, so I can only assume the hotel had the opportunity to staff it accordingly but chose not to. The restaurant on site was closed for a private function (fair enough) and the bar was surrounded with only 1 poor staff member fighting the good fight but after watching her pour 4 pints then tray them and deliver them to a table, I gave up all hope of ever being served. I returned to my room to try and figure out room service, as there was no menu in my room. After calling reception, they did text a menu to my phone, but definitely an overly convoluted way of sharing a menu but hey ho. The final insult was when I finally got through to the service, they told me it was at least a 90 minute wait for food and despite the wait they still couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't be cold when I got it. I ended up nipping out for a takeaway and there is a steady stream of Just Eat deliveries at the front entrance. I might have tried that myself if I could stick the reek of smoke from everyone lining the main entrance. All in all this was a very poor effort by hilton to staff their business appropriately. They are always very happy to take your money but once they have it they appear quite uninterested on actually providing even a modicum of service. I certainly wouldn't return to this one.

I have used the Hilton at the NEC several times for business. I took my family to see an exhibition at the NEC so choose this hotel as normal. …

Had a great stay here. The breakfast was exceptional with so much choice & tasted delicious.Brightsmith restaurant was beautiful with a very nice ambience & atmosphere and lovely friendly staff. Prices at the restaurant on the high side & wasn't happy with the additional 12.5% service charge, why not just incorporate it into the menu price?Great pool & steam room & again all staff lovely. Overall, a great experience.

Wow what a stay, we went for a work event but we will definitely return for out next leisure. The king size bed was perfect for me at 6’2”. Olympics on TV. Quiet room. Gym was good. Swimming pool was fantastic. Breakfast is a must. I really enjoyed the waffle with fresh honey comb. As a carer for bees i never tried the comb before. It was surprisingly delicious especially with the wild berries.
