We had an amazing few nights in 'Dolly', a perfect way to recharge the batteries and come off grid for a few nights. Dolly was cute, comfortable and clean. A stunning location set on the most beautiful farm with varying walks depending on your ability. Definitely visit The Falcon up the road that serves amazing food. The wood fired hot tub was delightful, even in the light drizzle we had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break away. It was really easy to book and I emailed Jo prior to booking to ask a few questions, she was really responsive and helpful. Jo continued to be helpful following our booking and continued to be responsive to any messages/ queries I had. I would highly recommend booking this lovely Shepard hut!

We stayed in Dolly for our mini-moon straight after our wedding. We had the best time, and were very lucky with the weather, and got to enjoy the outdoor area as much as the beautiful shepherd hut.It has everything you need for a comfy stay, the bed is wonderful, with the most beautiful view out of the window. We also had our dog with us, and he had the best time exploring the fields.

Can’t say enough nice things about the shepherds hut we stayed in. The hut itself is beautifully done and located in a gorgeous field. The views from outside and the bed are just to die for. We loved the area and all of the gorgeous walks. We have spent the evenings by a fire drinking wine and attempting to cook over fire (which was very entertaining!) It was the perfect getaway and most importantly it was every dogs dream!! Jo was lovely and really accommodating. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

I cannot recommend Fat Pheasant Shepherd Huts more highly (although part of me doesn't want to because it's the best kept secret I know!) Me, my partner and dog had the most wonderful stay in Dolly for my birthday- it was perfection from start to finish. The outdoor woodfired hot tub was divine (and all ready to go from arrival!) The hut was beautifully decorated and the bed was huge and comfortable with luxury bedding and a great view out the window with a cup of tea! It was lovely to have the bathroom (great shower) in the hut too- all made for such a comfortable stay. We loved having the firepit, bbq and woodstove and Jo provided us with more than enough kindling etc to light everything. It's such a private space, it really feels like a slice of heaven. Jo also sorted the most amazing fresh hamper of food for our stay so we didn't need to lift a finger on arrival! Whether it's your birthday or not you'll want to make sure you order the birthday brownies!!! THE BEST! Lovely walks right on the doorstep, with a brilliant booklet from Jo providing directions and pub recommendations. Everything had been thought through to the highest standard and we could not have asked for more. Thank you so much!

WOW! We had the most incredible stay at Fat Pheasant Shepherd Huts. From the stunning views, completely secluded location and wood fire hot tub - everything was perfect. We stayed in Maggie and it was fully kitted out with everything we needed, including books and board games. Jo was a FAB host and the food hamper filled with local produce is a MUST. We will 100% be booking in next year! I'd wholeheartedly recommend :)

We had an absolutely lovely weekend at Fat Pheasants, and would recommend it to everyone! The shepherds huts themselves are brilliantly kitted out with everything you need, including a hot shower, a log burning stove and big and very comfortable bed. The hot tub and BBQ are added bonuses - it feels very luxurious ending the day with a G&T in the hot tub overlooking the fields! The huts are in a really peaceful, beautiful spot and Jo did everything she could to make us feel welcome and provide us with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay in Dolly, the location of the Shepherds hut was so peaceful and private. We ordered a few of the hampers (breakfast, BBQ sweet treats & dinner) the food was all fresh from the farm, cooking instructions included and tasted amazing! Jo went above and beyond to make it so special, the small touches, home made Jams and Gin. We will definitely be booking again, taking friends next time and opting for the bell tents.

What a wonderful countryside retreat! We were lucky enough to stay for a couple of nights, switching off and living the off-grid life with all the modern and luxe details of a boutique hotel. Dolly is everything and more. Even on a cooler and slightly damper May weekend, we were super cozy with the wood burner in the shepherds hut and bubbling wood fired hot tub. There is so much to explore and the farm is the perfect bolt hole to make the most of getting outside. Dolly is completely secluded and private which is rare these days! A must is the food hampers which Jo puts together and gives you a real taste of the area where you are staying - everything is sourced from the farm or locally. We will definitely be returning and thank you again Jo for such a perfect weekend.

What an amazing find. From start to end our family trip to Dolly, the name of our hut, could not have been better. Jo was superb all the way through and could not have been more helpful. …
