Excellent stay in one of the new twin rooms. Walk in shower of great benefit to me, beds excellent. Table and chair meant we could stay in room comfortably to watch tv or play board games. All staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside is paying £7 a night for parking, if their is space.

Owen in reception is a credit to the company. |Stayed here last month for the first time and was so impressed that chose to stay again. However, the room in our first stay had a walk in shower, so just expected that again. …

Very comfortable room. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially James who went above and beyond. The food was great breakfast and evening meal. We took advantage of the meal deal which was great value. …

When we arrived we were checked in by Owen who was very polite and informative. Later we had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant which was nice and reasonable priced. …

We stayed one night at this Premier Inn and it was the best Premier Inn I have stayed at. The rooms are their new "Next Evolution Style" which are a great improvement on their current offering at other hotels.Plenty of plugs around the room and a walk-in shower which is much better than a bath. The bathroom also includes a purple light which is perfect for if you need the toilet at night and don't want to use the main light, which is much brighter.Breakfast was also delicious, only a small amount of each hot breakfast item is left out on the buffet before being replaced once empty. This meant the food was constantly fresh and hadn't been sat out too long.Car parking is £7 per 24hrs which is not too bad for the area, although it is first come first served.

Brilliant! Lovely place, so quiet in the room and location, a short walk into town. Car parking very reasonable, about 7 pounds for 24 hours for hotel guests. Staff fantastic as usual for Premier Inn. Will definitely stay here again

The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet. I appreciated a cattle in the room and a possibility to have a decaf coffe with milk. I also appreciated the location, at the canal, great for morning walks, close to the bus and railway station. At the hotel, I felt safe and comfortable.

Upon entry I was greeted by friendly helpful staff who operated well and worked efficiently. The room was clean with a nice shower and a useful air conditioning unit. The location is amazing being placed near the main town (5 minute walk away). There are plenty of restraints nearby and if you need fast food to go there is a McDonald’s next door. This is a great hotel and is a great choose if you want easy access to the town, friendly staff and a good room.

Good hotel. Premier Inn are usually either the shabby old ones or the newly refurbished ones. Despite the shabby corridor carpets, this is one of the refurbished ones. Rooms have remarkably quiet air con, great for a hot day, and a lovely rainfall walk-in shower. This is great, I often wonder why some still have old baths in them. The staff were great at check in, really pleasant and friendly, and helpful nd quick when the room ran out of toilet paper on our second day. That said, you'd think that they'd have checked and refilled the toilet paper (and soap) before we checked in or on our second morning - hence knocking off one star. Overall good though, definitely an excellent location as there is on-site parking and you're 10 minutes walk downhill to Shakespeare's birth place. And again, staff were lovely - so good they're worth mentioning twice.

Great newly refurbished rooms. No bath tubs! I would have preferred a bath, but the shower was fantastic if i'm honest. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend staying here. I didn't have dinner there, as i was out with friends, but it smelt lovely when i walked passed and the menu was very extensive.
