Arrived 16th to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Room 31 was allocated. Very nice room in the main building but we had to be moved after we unpacked because of constant humming from the bathroom.  …

Third stay and every year it gets better. We had a lovely huge room with amazing views and bed is super comfy. We attended a charity event which was well run with lovely food. Breakfast was very good. We walked around the grounds in the morning and it is stunning. Thank you for a lovely stay and see you next year.

The hotel is within a great location, so quiet and amazing grounds. All very green and some birds of prey on the golf course in the morning.Rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need, but it could do with an update.Breakfast and the evening meal were good, again everything you need, bar and restaurant could do with an update and a clean.Didn't use the gym or pool, but it looked ok to from the outside.Would stay again

We've been to better hotels for less money. It needs refurbishment. The breakfast was limited. The surroundings are very nice with lovely views. The entrance puts you off its not very clean. Also having to pay up front 2 weeks before our visit with a non returnable deposit doesn't bode well with us.I don't think we will return

Picked this hotel from Google Maps. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. It just happened to coincide with England playing and winning a penalty shoot out in the Euros, so it was busy and a little rowdy, but it made for a good atmosphere. Paid extra for an up to date refurbished room. Nice view onto the golf course. It's very roomy and clean. Despite arriving late, we had something to eat in the bar, and they were very quick to serve. The vegetarian food was delicious. My partner and I had an early morning swim in the spa, followed by jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Lovely facilities and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast after our efforts in the spa. Very enjoyable stay

We stayed here with a secret escapes deal and there is a lot to criticise unfortunately.First the positives:- the dinner was nice, even though the personnel was very forgetful.- the tennis courts are very nice and not too busy- the bed was quite bigThe mediums:- breakfast was okay overall, but the ‚baked‘ goods were a stale embarrassment. Worst croissant I’ve had, if you can call it that. Still a decent breakfast- the grounds are niceThe negatives:- the indoor pool and sauna facilities are absolutely vile. See pictures.- Our room and bathroom were very dated. The bathroom was pretty bad to be honest. As someone who likes halfway modern facilities I didn’t feel comfortable in it.So yeah if you’re expecting a luxurious stay you’re at the wrong address. But we did have a nice time. Just definitely didn’t save anything in that deal because that is the absolute maximum price this stay should be.

Absolutely fabulous stay. We booked a Secret Escapes stay. Just one night. Cannon praise the staff enough. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Check in easy. Room clean and well equipped. That said the TV has seen better days. Used the pool and hot tub, not busy.|Dinner was tasty and a good choice. ||We will be back.

Got married here in 2018. Try and return every year. Service is always top notch all the way through from, Spa, restaurant, reception or chambermaids. Hotel is always immaculately clean and tidy, views wonderful. The food for lunch was lovely and light with interesting and exciting options, whilst the evening options were wonderful also, full of old favourites or enticing options. Spa and treatments are wonderful and relaxing and team were great and helpful especially Melissa in the Spa and Keeley who did our treatments. Only slight gripe is the showers in the rooms, which are far too short for anyone of a reasonable height.

There is a lot to see in the area, and the bonus of this hotel is there is both an indoor and outdoor pool.  …
