Excellent stay. Staff are polite, helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Jen and Vivian. Room was spacious with a nice view of the garden. Food was excellent. Great location for getting around the countryside. The hotel has a special feel, and appears to have preserved much of its historic charm.

Visited for a wedding. Everything went smoothly. Hotel staff were efficient. The reception room was decorated nicely. The bar, even though a little pricey, was well stocked and stayed open late. Lovely historic surroundings.

Another wonderful stay at this typical English Country House Hotel. Spa area is very peaceful and user friendly, although would benefit from a jacuzzi. Gorgeous grounds and characterful interior. Staff so friendly and attentive in a very calm environment. Very relaxing!

Chose Billesley as we were in the area for an event and wanted to stay somewhere special. We weren't disappointed, it's a beautiful property in lovely quiet surrounds (unless you count the sheep in the background!). We were lucky to stay on a very hot day and could enjoy the grounds in the sun and enjoy sitting out on the terrace in the evening after dinner. Our room was the basic category so not huge but well equipped and with a comfy bed. Good sized bathroom with modern fittings. We had a lovely dinner in the main restaurant, lovely food and nice wines. Breakfast was a buffet with typical choices.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would happily go back.

I strongly advise against booking this hotel. Despite being advertised as pet-friendly on Booking.com, and despite my explicit indication of traveling with a dog during the booking process, the hotel accepted my non-refundable payment only to inform me hours later that they cannot accommodate pets in the booked room type. They refused to provide a refund, suggesting I contact Booking.com instead. This forced me to make last-minute alternative arrangements at additional cost, significantly disrupting my travel plans with an international guest. The hotel's practice of accepting bookings they cannot fulfill while hiding behind the non-refundable policy appears deliberately misleading. Their unwillingness to resolve the situation, despite immediate communication from my side, demonstrates poor business ethics and customer service.

We came for the history and beauty of the manor but the warm, welcoming attitudes of all the staff are what really made our stay. …
