We stopped at the Holborn Hotel for one night on our NC500 trip. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we had a really good breakfast as well. They have gluten free options on the breakfast menu and offer gluten free bread too!Overall highly recommend for an overnight stop or even for a couple of days while doing the NC500

Had a lovely dinner in the small pub attached to the main hotel. Lovely staff and a moderate selection of ales.|Tried Haggis for the first time, and last!|Good priced meals and good specials. |There for the Scotland v Germany opener of Euro 2024, and it was great to see the cops drop by for a quick score update.

Great food, and they always have a very good and tempting specials board, particularly for fish and seafood, coupled with a great selection of craft beers 🍻. Service is always great, very polite and friendly. Can't comment on the rooms having never stayed there.

We were very pleased to be able to charge our electric bicycles whilst having an excellent lunch. Staff were very helpful and friendly with a can-do attitude. We left our bicycles charging at the hotel whilst we completed errands. Highly recommended.

Our group visit Caithness regularly. In recent years, we have had meals in their Red Pepper restaurant (amazing seafood) and the bar. Both menus are imaginative and good value. Service is efficient and friendly. Very personable staff. …
