Needed to stay one night in Campbeltown and didn't fancy spending £120 on a B&B. The bunkhouse was excellent - oonce booked comms were great, access was easy and the set up was fine.  …

This is a beautiful hostel in a good quiet location. The beds are comfy. There is a kitchen diner with an attached lounge area. It has a drying room. It is secure as each person has there own entry code which should be kept secure. The rooms can be locked at night.

I loved my stay at the Campeltown bunkhouse! The picturesque historic building is easy to reach from the bus station and very close to the shops, pubs, etc. …

A very cherished hostel, run by volunteers in their 70s, who are lovely! It's an old school which gives the building character, it's fairly small but well cared for, very clean and has good kitchen facilities. …

The bunkhouse was perfect for our group of friends. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, there was ample hot water, and everything was spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend for groups or solo travellers.

Have to admit this is a very well maintained and run hostel. A lot of pride has been taken in setting up the hostel to make it comfortable for everybody.||Excellent beds. Very good security. One of the best equipped kitchens. Excellent shower/toilet facilities.||Also somewhere comfortable to sit and talk to other hosterlers.

Five star, really nice place to stay. They have a booking system based on "honesty" where you pay on arrival and registration. Everything is there, except a TV but then I made my own entertainment. Alan was nice when speaking on the phone, as was the young lass who came to service the hostel. Would glady stay again.
