This hotel is pricy, but well worth it. We had a lovely room overlooking the bay. Outside the hotel there is a seating area which leads out on to a small beach. …

Had a couple of meals in the bar. Both absolutely delightful! I'm a tough fish & chips critic, but the haddock and chips here was beyond any others I've had.We went on both Sunday and Wednesday, which are nights when the band plays. They added a lovely vibe to the occasion and were very friendly.Would heartily recommend.

We had a perfect 4 day stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were so sweet, the whiskey was plentiful. The rooms were lovely and our view was amazing. The restaurant had delicious food for vegans and non vegans. Everything was lovely would love to go back.

Fell into it on a gruelling cycle last Saturday. Best pint of lager shandy ever 😂 Went back for dinner and it was a hot. The staff are superstars. I had the Gruinart oysters to start. …

Family dinner on a Tuesday evening. Had visited on a couple of previous occasions when visiting Islay and it seems that service has gone downhill slightly recently.||Food was excellent as normal. No qualms about that whatsoever. …

Great food and service! The team were all nice, but Lorna was definitely a standout... Attentive and funny. The posh fish was nice, as was the fish and chips and the steak baguette my friends had.

Charming "boutique hotel" kept in its beloved old style. Well appointed restaurant and welcoming bar add to the guests' experience. I stopped for quick lunch and to enjoy the ocean and light house views and little garden way leading seashore. Lovely setting.

We called in at the Port Charlotte for a drink on the way back to Bowmore. I ordered a pint and a half of very average ale and nearly dropped my glass when asked for ten pounds! …
