Room was very comfortable. Booked a twin but if you want 2 single beds, apparently you need to phone the hotel in advance to request it. …

This was a fairly decent place to stay. There truly is so much potential if they were to renovate. The TRAM is about a 8 min walk which is very easy to use and gets you most places you want to go.The waterfront location could truly be amazing and it's also close to grocery stores and a short ride to a pretty extensive mall.My complaints would have to be that it was very outdated , there was no AC, and no fridge in the room. These were all things that we knew beforehand but things we definitely missed having. The price was reasonable for what you got, the staff were all very friendly and the whole hotel was very clean and well looked after. If they did a reno I think this would be an amazing spit. As of right now it's a reasonably priced hotel that is clean with friendly staff.

Hotel is as expected but the restaurant attached is best left out of your trip. Service and the food is dreadful. Unless you are forced into a meal deal go elsewhere. …

Insanely priced for what you get. The rooms were clean, but very drab & require a vast update & a lot of tlc, very shabby. Bed was comfy, but Premier Inn beds normally are, so that’s to be expected. We booked based on 4.2 * reviews, but definitely not the case, it would be a hard pushed 3* from me.The hotel service was appalling, never ever anyone on reception. Yes they came if you pressed the buzzer, but I think there should be someone there to welcome guests as they arrive. One girl in particular who served us twice never smiled or interacted once/never looked me in the face, very rude. Breakfast is served at the Brewers Fayre next door, again this is not worth the money. Breakfast was bog standard, usual serve yourself & very cold. Hotel location was great, 5-min walk away from the tram service to town which ran every 7 minutes, so not long to wait.We ate our evening meals at a fish restaurant nearby, that was lovely & secondly Zizzi restaurant 5-min away at the Ocean indoor shopping plaza, not great & very quiet there. I’d recommend going into the centre & just getting the tram back when done.I would not return to this hotel again & would not recommend.

Security risk! Someone came into out room then ran out saying they'd got the wrong key. One manager went home rather than talk to us and another promised a call back but didn't.It definitely wasn't hotel staff as it was in the evening.Lots of dust, scruffy and noone on reception. We stay at premier inns every month but this wasn't great. You'll definitely be disappointed.

I was staying here for a long weekend with my mum while visiting Edinburgh for the first time. A lovely hotel, with nice views and a great bus link right on the doorsteps, also thrilled to see such a dog friendly area. The pub next door served a great breakfast on behalf of the hotel and staff were friendly.

The rooms were very nice and clean but they were too hot. 24 in my room and 27 in daughters room. You couldn't open the windows more than an inch because they were locked. Too hot to sleep in . Too hot to shower.

everything was good as usual but I got surprised when I was ask to pay for parking. Im a regular customer of premier inn but I think they need to put back the free parking. it cost me 8 pounds a day. hopefully it will revert back to the usual free parking for costumers.

First time staying at a Premier Inn and certainly the last! Well over priced! No staff on reception on arrival. Hotel is pretty drab and looking the worse for wear. Room was drab with little natural light. Our view was a brick wall and a load of pigeon poo. The window was filthy. Close to bus and tram so easy access to city centre. We used the fishmarket restaurant for our evening meal which was lovely. We didn't like the look of the Brewers Faye, but tried breakfast - should have gone with our gut instinct - breakfast was inedible and stone cold. Worst breakfast ever.

Currently staying & paid in advance. Room is so dated now, bathroom as bad as a prison cell now & paint/silicon peeling all over floor & skirting. Bed sheets don't fit & keep coming out unravelling.  …
