This was our second stay at a Premier Inn on our visit to the UK and we were quite disappointed. I will say the staff we interacted with was excellent; however, he seemed to have to do everything from checking people in to helping people carry bags to their rooms to keeping the restaurant area clean. We received an email from the hotel letting us know that parking was no longer free - this was frustrating, but luckily upon our arrival they informed us that it was in fact still free. Something to be aware of though as they may begin charging. This hotel is not very close to the city centre, so most people would drive. The lot is huge, and it seems silly to charge paying guests for parking. As well, unlike at our other Premier Inn, this hotel charges extra for wifi capable of streaming. This was not made clear at the time of booking and feels like a bit of a trap for guests. Everything in this hotel was clean and comfortable, however things were a bit dated and not in great repair. The main floor hallway smelled strongly of mildew and only one lift was working, which meant we had to navigate a maze of hallways to get to a lift that would take us to our room on the second floor. The cooling system was quite loud, so we didn't put it on while sleeping despite the room being a bit warm.Overall, a disappointing experience redeemed by the cleanliness of our room and the kindness of the staff working at reception. Would not return.

Rooms where fine and spacious enough, however it felt like there was no way to cool the rooms as the temperature didn't go low enough and no way to open the windows, even a little. The staff at reception were good and friendly and attentive when needed. No complaints there. The food service was very poor. The nights we were staying I only ever saw a couple of servers, sometimes only 1 working the morning shift. In the morning breakfast, there was constantly no glasses, plates for food. The food was also slow to resupply. The toaster took a good couple of minutes to toast, which sounds silly but when you got a queue of people waiting for toast, you end up waiting a good while for just toast.I would love to mention the dinner, but we didn't get the chance to eat as they were only taking bookings, no walk ins and the earliest they could sit us was 8.15 (asked for a table at 17.00ish both nights). Which doesn't work for us having two young kids.Notice that half the restaurant was closed and not used, most likely due to no staff.Overall not impressed, don't recommend.

We arrived late at night after a long drive, the staff member was friendly and helpful. Booking us in swiftly. |The room was a good typical Premier Inn, nice and clean throughout with a comfy bed. |The hotel was quiet with no disturbance through the night, so we had a good nights sleep.

A very average and tired Premier inn, in need of rennovation. The downstairs corridoor at some point has had a leak, huge wet stain on the carpet and smell of damp. The rooms are sufficient, nothing more. …

Good points - Staff were nice enough.Bad points - Foosty damp corridors and room. The lift was out of service.Mould growing around the window area and also on the ceiling in the bathroom.Uncomfortable beds.Cobwebs around the top of the headboards.Unable to open the window properly.Plug sockets limited, and on the far side of the room to the bed.A guesthouse in Inverness costs the same price, and with much better service. Will never stay in a Premier Inn again.

I booked this last minute due to an emergency and as a lone traveller wanted to find somewhere safe to eat and rest. This was NOT the case... The pub at the hotel was closed, the receptionist barely even acknowledged my presence and didn't inform me there was no dinner option when I got in. It was harder to get into the city due to road closures and it was so late I just gave up trying to find hot food, especially as all deliveries needed £10 minimum spend. The room was adequate and clean but the bathroom stank of cigarettes in the morning. The sound proofing was not great as I could hear people in the room above and every single door slam. There was good free parking however.Breakfast food wise was excellent and a huge shout out to the person running front of house on their own. It's an absolute disgrace to leave one person running all that by themselves and they did an excellent job in the circumstances. I ended up clearing and cleaning my table to save them a job. Nobody should feel they have to do this and I am presuming the staff are all on minimum wage which is not enough.I stay in Premier Inns regularly and this was the most appallingly run one I have ever stayed in. I am going to be following up a written complaint with this. I would avoid. There's clearly some big issues with the hotel itself and presumably getting staff so this needs to be addressed. It's a bit far from the city to be of much use too.

Usually try and stay at this PI when I’m Inverness, as it was the best of the 3 in town, due to the Beefeater being a decent place to eat. I’d like to say I’d recommend the new Thyme restaurant but unfortunately was closed both nights of my stay, which wasn’t mentioned when I checked in. Room was very warm and unable to even crack the window open. Would probably avoid staying here again as with no restaurant, it’s a bit out of the way for a walk to town to get something to eat, sorry state of affairs…

Unfortunately the Inn was having a nightmare the weekend of our stay. Lack of staff, no hot meals for dinner or brekkie, however the breakfast man was very hard working and very friendly. Good on you guys! The bedroom was great, no noise and comfortable beds.

Nicely located after visiting The Loch Ness Centre. Opted for the meal deal, which is very good value. Although the website says it's £8 per day for parking, the Receptionist said it's free for guests as long as you give the hotel your registration number.
