Oh dear. Very dated. In desperate need of investment. The room I was in was very badly laid out. The bedside light switch is hidden behind the bed head board; a lovely tray of tea and coffee things; there are no restaurant facilities as 'the chef walked out a couple of weeks ago' . On the plus side the WiFi is easy to access. Pleasantly surprised to find the heating was not turned up high, unlike some hotels. The shower has several problems, the water flow is very weak, the cabinet is so small it is difficult to squeeze through the door if you are heavier than average.

This was a lovely place to stay. Conviently located on the main street, free spacious car park, warm and friendly family service and yes, its old fashioned but that is part of its charm. Also reasonably priced and a good filling breakfast in the morning.

I had the misfortune of being booked into this hotel on a 3rd party website for 3 days . We checked out after only one night and decided that a 2 hour commute each day was way better than staying in this disgusting place . …
