Visited for food and drinks for a few evenings during our week in the area - fabulous fish and chips. Really warm welcome from all the staff and locals alike. Warm, comfortable, clean, Daniel or is it Darren (we all know it’s Daz πŸ˜‚) was on top form and really looked after us and our dogs Roxy and Betty

Comfortable inn next to a lovely river, some lovely countryside and children's playground. Specials menu had some nice options. Traditional chicken, leek and bacon pie. Roast beef dinner with Yorkshire puddings were tasty. …

Brilliant staff.Nothing was too much trouble and they went over and above to help us during our stay. The first day we were leaving too early for breakfast and they made us a great little pack lunch without being asked. Great location and a lovely pint in the bar at very reasonable prices. Thank you and hope to visit again someday.
