This is the 1st review I've ever left but i really felt i had to.||One of the worst hotels if you can even call it that. Looks like an old office building that's been badly converted. …

A last-minute stay during our highland visit. I can see why it was so cheap! The bed was comfortable with clean sheets and towels. However to curtains seemed pined shut to the window, and our bathroom ceiling was full of mould. This place seems like it is mid refurb with some aspects looking brand new others looking very warn. Man on the desk didn't seem too keen on being there either and wasn't exactly welcoming. The breakfast in the morning isn't anything to shout about either. Bread and croissants wrapped in clingfilm that was pretty dry or cereal that has been out a while and was starting to go soggy and coffee tasting like it had been sat a while.

We ignored the terrible reviews to our detriment. This place is the worst hotel we have EVER seen, and we’ve been in a fair few all around the world. …

We had booked a single room for me and a twin room for my son and daughter-in-law to stay for one night. We arrived after 10.30pm. The bed in my room had not been changed. There were no towels. …

Stayed over as I was working in the area.||When I first arrived the first thing I noticed was the floors had not been hoovered in a while. Theres was also a string smell of damp, rotting food, and other things I would rather not say. …

!!NOT A HOTEL!! This place is a hostel and for £35 a night it would have been ok. The fact it's on the NC500 means they are charging £100+ a night. The room and bathroom were big but didn't have a lot going for them. The bathroom was weirdly appointed with the sink under the window when there was plenty of other places it could have gone and had a mirror above it. Had a ground floor room and there were no blinds on the bathroom windows so although the shower looked inviting I couldn't have one without providing the outside world with a show! There was some coffee, no milk, no spoon and cups smelt odd. Telly didn't work. Bedding was cheap. It seemed clean but did have stains. Saying all that the long term residents and staff were very friendly. This was like staying in a drop in centre or hostel, not a hotel. Oh and there was a substantial water leak dripping all over the breakfast buffet.

This place is a great value. Yes, the rooms are dated, but you can’t argue with the price and location. The water pressure in the shower was great, beds were decent, room had a lot of space. Robert at the front desk also went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us out.

Mould in shower and some yellow patch on ceiling in the bedroom. Looked like a leak. Tea/coffee wasn’t replenished after the previous person. Breakfast was basic and the cereal was stale. Who knows how long the coco pops was in the tubes it wouldn’t even come out. Service was great. He helped with our bags but no lift so you’ll need to carry everything upstairs/downstairs.
