If you’re searching for a hidden gem that perfectly blends seclusion with convenience, this is the place to stay. Nestled just off the beaten path, yet within easy walking distance to the heart of the village, this charming pub is everything you could dream of—and more. The moment we arrived, we were enveloped by an ambience that exceeded our expectations. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience—a cozy, vibrant pub that exudes character and warmth. It’s exactly what anyone from the USA envisions when they think of a quintessential Scottish pub. From the outset, we were welcomed like old friends. Millie, with her infectious warmth, went above and beyond, effortlessly lugging our suitcases upstairs and ensuring we were equipped with all the information we needed for a perfect stay. After settling in, we couldn’t resist heading downstairs to soak in the atmosphere over a local beer and a glass of wine. Tom, ever the gracious host, even took it upon himself to expertly parallel park our rental car, a gesture that perfectly captures the level of care and service here.Inside, we were introduced to Jo, Tom’s incredible partner, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly at home. She introduced us to a wonderful cast of characters—Craig, Derek, Jack, and many others—who all contributed to the unforgettable atmosphere of this magical place. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in the true essence of an authentic pub experience, this is where you need to stay. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. This place is an absolute treasure.

We stayed here for a few days to celebrate my wife's birthday. The room was spotlessly clean & the service we received was excellent. We've stayed at many hotels in Dundee over the years, but have to say this place was absolutely fantastic. Tracy & all her team are extremely courteous & professional. You receive a really happy welcome. Well Done 👏

Incredible live music played in the bar on a Thursday night. For some reason the pub chooses to drown it out with radio 😐
