This pace is a hidden gem! Stayed in a gorgeous wee cottage for the night and as we were running late we were dropped off at the restaurant in Pittenweem - great service! (Go to The Dory - you won't regret it!) Tara was a marvellous host and nothing was too much trouble. If you want some peace and quiet in a wonderful setting then make sure you visit. We saw the new treehouses and can't wait to try them next time! 5 Stars!

Such a lovely place to get away from it all. Our dogs absolutely loved it - so easy to quickly get them safely off lead for a romp near to the grounds. And for longer walks - a very scenic ramble into Anstruther along the coastal path.  …

Just back from a wonderful weekend with my family. There were fifteen of us in total ranging from age 6 to 70 with a mix of young children and adults of varied ages. We also had my severely autistic grandson with us and the space worked so well for all of us. We had booked out all six cottages affording us the luxury of the children being able to play freely without worrying about impinging on any other guests. My autistic grandson had all the space that he needed so was able to enjoy the facilities. For much of the weekend I could hear his laughter from the tree swing. The cottages provided perfect accommodation for all and the Bothy was where we gathered to eat, laugh and play games. The area definitely works well for a large mixed group and I would also recommend booking Murray’s chip van to pay a visit. A great character and delicious freshly cooked food.

The most beautiful night away. Woke up early to a beautiful view. Sat outside after a very comfy sleep on a soft linen bed. Spent my morning in an outside bath looking out upon the vast country side. The serenity of the place was unmatched. Beautifully maintained. Felt like a home away from home. I came here with friends and loved it and in the future I’d love to take my family here.

I stayed at the treehouse and it was a once in a life time experience. The houses themselves are so beautiful with great views of the trees and fields. The interior is so high end and comfortable - beautiful bed and linen, a great shower oh and an outdoor bath

We booked Gardners cottage and one of the Terraced cottage for Fri - Mon for a gathering with friends. We had an incredible time. Both accomodations were great, well appointed and spacious. We loved the cottage garden too, it felt secluded and had a fun time using the hot tub and making pizzas in the out door pizza oven. I made a surprise dinner in the boothy Friday night which was an amazing/cute wee space, which our friends loved. The owners had a really cosy cool prosecco cave that they kindly let us use too which was amazing for chilling out with a film. The owners were fantastic too on hand at any time if we had any problems/questions. I'm already look for an occasion to book it again!

I stayed at the Madeira for a Wedding last September. It was a lovely weekend with friends which was very enjoyable. I paid for the weekend prior to arrival as well as the £100 refundable security deposit. …

We have just spent the weekend here celebrating the marriage of our friends. There was a group of 17 of us and we had private use of the cottages and main house. All I can really say is WOW. The little bothy was an excellent place to congregate, party, eat and relax with the wood fire burning. The hot tubs were amazing. Kate and Tara - thank you again , from booking to phone calls to make sure we were all set for a brilliant weekend , nothing was too much hassle , setting up the pizza ovens, welcome drinks, bbq and wood fires , the flowers in the cottages and little touches were very much appreciated. You have a wonderful venue and make a great team. We will definitely be returning (who knows even for a wedding 😂) we had a blast

Booked Madeira for surprise birthday party. Had exclusive use for 7 couples. What a place. Cottages are all lovely and spacious but the Bothy is something else. Perfect venue for an event of that size. Cosy, good facilities and although the weather was baltic, wood burner kept us all toasty. Hot tubs were awesome too!Tara was a great help too with some top advice on local caterers including a local chef and fish & chip van.Easy walk into Pittenweem and Anstruther too for a wee change of scene (I.e. a pint in the Dreel). All 14 of us loved it. Will be back again for sure. Thanks to Tara and the team for an amazing weekend.

My family and I have just returned from a two week stay at Gardener’s Cottage. This property is all about location, location, location, we enjoyed being able to access the coastal path from our doorstep.  …
