We stayed here as it was much cheaper than any hotels in Edinburgh centre.|The room was a good size and the bed was very comfy, tea and coffee provided but no hot chocolate which was a bit of a shame. …

We needed a place near the airport for our family to stay for one night during our Scotland trip so we chose this Holiday Inn. We had booked three rooms and asked for a pack and play for one of the rooms. …

Standard sort of Holiday Inn experience, rooms are adequate and so is the bathroom’s, not the modern ones you’d come to expect at other establishments but they’re fine as they are. Breakfast included is always great. Also situated conveniently next to a lot of places that you could need.

You always know what you get with a Holiday Inn Express, this one was ran very well. The rooms were standard HIE, and comfortable enough, nice large T.V. and good WiFi. The breakfast was ok. There is a small bar area, and some outside seating. The car park was safe and my stay was pleasant.

My wife and two sons aged 12 and 8 stayed for 4 nights from 25/08/24-29/08/34. Excellent service from the staff , especially Charlie on the front desk. The location is excellent with lots of free parking and opposite an Asda supermarket, McDonald’s and B&M. Only 45 minute car journey to Edinburgh. Great for dogs as lots of outdoor space outside the hotel. Strong WiFi and good hot breakfast which is always stocked up -staff are very attentive. Room large and quiet and bathroom very clean -shower hot —the hotel offers excellent value for money and there is a microwave which is free to use in the breakfast area for those who want to purchase their own lunch or dinner and heat it up. The only minor downside is the cost of alcoholic drinks at the bar hotel, ie £6.40 for a pint of Guiness on tap (?!) and over £5.50 for a pint on tap of Spanish lager —make these more in line with Wetherspoon pub prices and more people will order from the bar and also why have Spanish lager on tap when tourists / customers to Scotland would want to have Scottish lager such as Tennents or Innis and Gunn—aside from that , a fabulous hotel.

Rooms were clean, spacious with a sofa and had the basic hotel amenities. The rooms facing the road were slightly noisy. Hotel was in a nice quiet location about 10-15minutes drive to Dunfermline town centre and 40minutes drive to Edinburgh. There is an ASDA superstore just opposite the hotel which was great for grocery shopping. Breakfast was included and had decent selection. The staff were helpful when we were requesting for amenities. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is very tired and grubby (eg look around the lift doors as the best example). The room wasn't much better. I was given a twin which I definitely didn't book which was annoying. …

We met the enthusiastic and efficient Shelia every morning at breakfast during our stay at Holiday Inn Dunfermline.Perhaps it was the comfort and effectiveness of staying here that made my husband forget his phone and wallet on the dining table when he was about to check out. As soon as we realized, we immediately returned to the restaurant to search for it. Luckily, Shelia had already put them into lost items at reception. She was really kind and considerate, which allowed us to get our valuables back safely. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Shelia and all other staff at Holiday Inn Dunfermline. We hope to meet these great people again in the future.
