This is a lovely hotel...very upmarket looking. On arrival the staff were very nice, and check in was easy. The double room was small, but had more than enough space to put clothes away. Nice surprise having a mini fridge, and also an ironing board and iron. The view was a construction site unfortunately. We had dinner and breakfast which was good. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a spot of bother with our puddings, but they kindly offered not to charge for them. Breakfast was a good choice...except no fries eggs! Overall the hotel was lovely...decor was good, although the walls were a bit tired with scuffs and marks. We reported a window which wasn't closing, and were offered another room, but we had just unpacked so declined on the basis that maintenance would visit....2 days later and window is still wide open! The doors outside the room are very noisy, and we realise they are fire doors, but banging all through the night wasn't great.Overall a lovely place, and staff amazingly nice. We have booked a return trip 😀

Unhelpful staff - poor reception- and not 1 slice of bread for breakfast!. The arrival experience was really poor the receptionist could not first of all find our booking and then could not find our address, we were allocated a room (23) …

Absolutely lovely hotel. I really enjoyed the stay there. It is very nice and clean. Staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional. The only minuses I personally found are that the hotel is quite far from Edinburgh, if you're exceptionally visiting this town. And that the water pressure in the rooms is quite low, but again, sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. But except them two things, I would really recommend staying in this hotel.

Lovely meal as always! Food is incredible, staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble. Manager is fantastic. Highly recommend. The meals are reasonably priced as well. We have been 3 times this year and each time has been brilliant, can’t fault them

Our large group of 16 had a lovely high tea at the Dean Park. Food was excellent, especially the Sunday roast. Good value too. Service was really good. Servers were all friendly and efficient, making sure we all had what we needed. …

We stayed here for 3 nights. 2 nights eating in the restaurant - being coeliac it is always nerve racking trusting a new place, but I am happy to report that the choices were very good, varied and gf! …

Beautiful Hotel and Restaurant, dead modern. But I’d like to focus on the outstanding service:Myself, my mum, and sister popped in on a whim for a late lunch and the service was impeccable. The food was amazing and so were the cocktails and macaroons! However the thing that stood out the most was our waiter, called Conner, who went above and beyond when serving us, even prior to knowing it was my birthday. A lovely member of staff, who is a credit to the Hotel.

Stayed at Dean Park several times now and it's always been great.Showers are fantastic.Breakfast buffet is excellent.Bar is good, service can be slow when there is a wedding or function on, but that's to be expected.Staff are all very friendly, but do feel some of them are trying to be in two places at once sometimes.
