It is not a 4 * hotel, but I was welcomed very friendly by Sandra who makes you feel at home right away!Comfortable room, clean bathroom. You can clearly see the place is cleaned well. (She’s friendly too)Walking distance to anything in the city centre. And most importantly: Nice and quiet at night for peaceful sleeping…I would come back to stay!

The rooms are good for one or two nights if you have a day/night out in Manchester and you're not planning on spending much time in there. Small and basic but had everything we needed. Comfy, clean bed. Bear in mind that bathrooms are separate but there's one on each floor (so you'll be sharing with others. This wasn't a problem as there's not many people on each floor)The pub was a lot nicer than expected. It's great that you can roll out of bed and straight downstairs for breakfast (Decent full English and discount for guests) or have a quick drink before heading out.I did hear that one of the rooms didn't have blinds or curtains which could make for a difficult night's sleep. Bring ear plugs just incase. One side is quiet but our side was slightly noisy but was to be expected as Psych fest was on (which we attended and was great) we still managed to sleep quite well. The location is great! Really central and has a few bars nearby. There's a really nice brunch place across the road where they do good bloody Mary's.I'd definitely stay here again, it was great for the price and location. Cheap and cheerful

Amazing pub, great value and good selection of beers. Pool and darts! Tiger was an amazing bartender, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. She really is a true asset to the company. Thank you!

My wife left her bag on the seat.An hour later we went back, in a panic, and there was Sandra, with the bag behind the bar. What a relief, what a star. You have a wonderful employee there, take care of her, one of the best and a busy, busy bee.

A lively pub with a nice vibe in a central location and open until 1am. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was for 3 adults. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the room didn't have any windows that could be opened so it was a bit uncomfortable with the heat, although a provided fan was much appreciated. The rooms are not en suite but there were two washrooms which were quite adequate. Decent digs and pretty good value for money for the proximity to Manchester City Centre, Chinatown etc..and a late night drink

Really comfortable rooms, affordable and in the middle of the city. So easy to get to and you get a key so it's easy to stay out late too. Great atmosphere and really cosy to stay in. Also the bathrooms are really clean.

Been going in for a few weeks seemed nice that's why it got two stars but today walked in lady was busy doing something I chose to sit at the top as this pub allows vaping inside and it gets very bad with smells and smoke in there which is why I sat at the top don't want to get involved but then was told seats reserved no signs no one in pub so we left they can keep their drinks and food I am not sitting with all the builders vaping in the pub not good but they buy all the beer so seems like the pub let's it happen gone to a nicer pub to spend my money
