The property has really nice spacious rooms and good washroom. Very well organized with a port next to your bed and area to use to hang clothes. Breakfast was amazing. Good options and very fresh. Staff were very nice and helpful too. The building is a bit old so the rooms were not the most modern, and you can see this on the walls and ceiling. Also a bit of stains on the bedding. I told them I will be coming late and I will need a late checkout however they never mentioned that I will need to enter from the back to access the hotel and it was raining that day in Manchester so It was some extra walking in the rain.

Beautiful grounds, no frills budget accommodation set in a theology college. Exactly what we needed for the evening when visiting the local O2 Apollo for a gig. …

We are here for 2 nights whilst visiting relatives. This is a hidden gem in the mad accommodation hunt in Manchester.|This is place was built in the 1960’s and was used as a Baptist training college for clergy. …

It's exactly what it says on the description, religious retreat in a little oasis within the city. Rooms are basic but clean and functional, basically reflected in the room rate. That said, there's an air of tranquillity in the place, a beautiful quadrangle with outside seating, calm, and time to reflect. Small bar, reasonable prices and decent breakfast. There's a lot of restaurants in easy walking distance and a nice park opposite. Easy access to public transport and good parking on site. Will go back again, we were going to a wedding so didn't have time to explore more.

The rooms are very, very basic but clean. We only needed somewhere to stay for one night since our flight landed very late and it suited us to stay in this student accommodation at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent, continental buffet style.

Needed a place to stay for the night as other hotels were fully booked due to Green Day being in the area, and we found this place with vacancy and reasonably priced too!It was easy to get to and park, upon entering the staff was friendly and chatty explained everything in regards to the code to get into the place at night, if we need anything and also gave best advice/tips on how to get to the Old Trafford Cricket Ground. The rooms were good, can tell it’s aged and needs some refurbishing, but overall the rooms were good and decent for what you need and more importantly they were clean. Beds were comfy although I found the mattress a bit too soft for my liking, I was sinking in 😂, but I had a good nights sleep

One of the few affordable places to stay as a solo traveler. A bit outside the center but easy to reach by bus. Room was basic but comfortable. I didn't interact much with the reception staff, but the gentleman at breakfast is definitely the highlight of the place! So friendly and even gave travel advice! Breakfast was pretty good for continental!

Finding it was tricky, but it is worth the search. It is old, but well maintained. The kitchen and dining room has been modernized and provides a great breakfast offering. Room are simple but adequate with ensuite facilities. …
