We stayed 2 nights here while on a motorcycle tour. We arrived drenched to the skin from torrential rain, and Donald quickly sorted us out with extra heating to dry our gear. And the lovely hot shower brought us back to normal! …

This hotel needs some TLC and Donald and his family are working on it. Our room was dated but perfectly functional and clean. Food in the Stag restaurant is very good and breakfast is ample and tasty. Good stay for the NC500.

Enjoyed my stay here, including supper. It was really impressive how the family works with the staff to create a high quality and individual experience for all guests. We shared a corridor bathroom with another guest room, and unlike other reviewers posting here, I actually read about what I was reserving. I don’t think it’s fair to give a bad review to a hotel because you didn’t get an en suite when you didn’t book an en suite. The sharing was fine, didn’t even see the other people. But I certainly did see the smiling faces of the family who runs the inn at supper and breakfast. Thanks especially to Jen!

A fabulous and authentic experience. Lovely staff. Very clean rooms and bathroom. And the food….it was SO good. The best haggis we had while in Scotland (we ate a lot of haggis) Chef Jacob is very talented - if you don’t stay over night definitely go for dinner!

I didn’t stay in the hotel but went in for dinner and drinks. The website says you will receive a warm welcome. On my visit the man behind the bar enquired bruskly ‘have you booked’ no smile or hint of a pleasant welcome. …

We stayed in this hotel as part of our NC 500 trip. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed in. ||The hotel needs some TLC. Weeds were growing out of the front of the building. It looked tired. Our room was a twin. …

The Kinlochewe hotel is one great place in this remote area of Scotland. Great friendly staff who run a clean house and a nice restaurant as well. Breakfast included. Basic but all you need. Didn't hesitate to come back a second time.
