Helpful and friendly staff. The room was okay. Nice and cozy pub where you can also enjoy delicious food. The bothy rooms are highly recommended for hikers.

Very welcoming to wet and smelly walkers and cyclists. As well as the hotel end there are also reasonably priced basic rooms with shared facilities. Breakfast is first rate. Location is on the Scottish National Trail and the Great North Trail.

Emailed them regarding afternoon food, no hotfood available but they offered afternoon tea.|This was sandwiches, sausage rolls, scones and cakes which was beautiful.|They were really helpful and had a good discussion with the barman regarding the local area.|
